The Raid 2 kitchen fight – director Gareth Evans reveals the mayhem!

As a huge cinema fan, I was absolutely blown away by the action in this film, starting with an incredible prison brawl right from the beginning. Each fight scene just kept getting more intense! There was one in a spotless restaurant kitchen that was particularly unforgettable – Iko Uwais went head-to-head with an opponent, and they used everything as a weapon in a desperate fight to the death. It was a brutal, exhausting sequence, and the beginning reminded me of a classic Bruce Lee fight from ‘Enter the Dragon’. Apparently, that final kitchen fight took a full eight days to shoot – 195 shots in total! The director, Gareth Evans, spent six weeks planning it, and Iko Uwais and the other fighters trained together for six months. They met daily to build trust, which was crucial – they wanted to avoid any accidental injuries turning into real fights during filming!

Godzilla’s Teased Kaiju Battle isn’t Happening (& It’s Actually a Good Thing)

What’s interesting about Season 2 of Monarch is that the giant monsters (Kaiju) are becoming more relatable, while the human characters are increasingly acting like the bad guys. Lee Shaw intentionally tried to force a deadly fight between Godzilla and Titan X, and Isabel wants to control the Titans for her own purposes. The show takes a unique approach by simply presenting the Titans as a natural part of the world, while humans try to take advantage of them. This adds a thought-provoking layer to the season, but it also leads to a surprising shift in direction in episode 9 as the finale approaches.

The fifth episode of the new Star Trek series, Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, heavily featured Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and especially the character of Captain Benjamin Sisko. The episode follows SAM (Kerrice Brooks) as she looks into the disappearance of Captain Sisko (Avery Brooks) and his unique role as the Emissary to the Prophets on Bajor. It also brought back familiar faces like Cirroc Lofton as Jake Sisko and Tawny Newsome as Professor Illa, the current Dax host. Despite facing criticism and the recent announcement that this season will be the last, this Starfleet Academy episode, which offered a sense of completion to the Deep Space Nine storyline, is considered one of the series’ best.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 Report Sheds Light on Release Date of PS6 Game

Recent reports suggest that the next Marvel’s Spider-Man game will likely be a PlayStation 6 title. Given the studio’s typical release schedule of a new game every three years, Marvel’s Venom is currently projected for 2029 and Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 for 2032. However, if Venom is released on both current and next-generation consoles, it could arrive as early as 2027 or 2028. This would then push Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 to a more likely release window of 2030 or 2031.
