
Square Enix will release a demo for Dragon Quest VII Reimagined on January 7, the company announced.
Progress you make in the demo can be transferred to the full game. Plus, everyone who tries the demo will get a special costume – the “Day Off Dress” – for Maribel when the full game releases.
The updated version of Dragon Quest VII, called Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, will be available worldwide on February 5, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC (through Steam and the Microsoft Store).
