Please be aware that this article reveals key plot points from the Black Clover manga! After over a decade, Yuki Tabata’s Black Clover manga is scheduled to conclude in the Spring 2026 issue of Jump GIGA magazine. The story culminates in the Magic Knights triumphing over Lucius Zogratis, restoring peace to the Clover Kingdom. However, following the sacrifice of Julius Novachrono – who gave his life using his Time Magic to protect the kingdom as his last act as Wizard King – the future of the Clover Kingdom remains unclear.
As the Wizard King took his last breath, he placed the fate of the Clover Kingdom in the hands of his most trusted knights: Yami, William, Asta, and Yuno. With the story nearing its end, someone must now take his place. The kingdom needs a Wizard King to lead, and the recent war proved many Magic Knights are capable, particularly Asta and Yuno. From the beginning, the story has focused on their rivalry and which of them would become Wizard King. But it’s possible both Asta and Yuno will achieve their ambitions.
Black Clover Might End With Both Asta and Yuno Rising on Top

Yuno is a naturally gifted prodigy who has steadily become incredibly strong, while Asta is the lovable underdog who has improved at an amazing rate. They’ve always been closely matched in both power and willpower. Together, they’re the best team in the series, constantly helping each other overcome tough enemies.
The two heroes fought together to defeat Lucius, with the future of the Clover Kingdom depending on their success. They’ve both clearly demonstrated the potential to become the next Wizard King, a position traditionally held by a single person. But with the Kingdom in ruins, rebuilding will be a massive task, potentially too much for one person alone. Throughout history, many Wizard Kings have tried and failed to overcome the deep-rooted social inequalities within the Kingdom, despite their efforts.
Asta, born into poverty, inspires others with his determination, while Yuno, a prince, is committed to using his power responsibly. Together, they have the potential to create a brighter future for the kingdom – one where everyone is valued and respected, regardless of their background or natural abilities.
