Disney has confirmed that the actors known for their roles in Zombies and Titans will star as Flynn Rider and Rapunzel in the upcoming live-action remake of Tangled. Zachary Levi and Mandy Moore originally voiced these characters in the 2010 animated film.

The studio announced the casting of the pair on January 7th. Milo playfully hinted at his excitement by commenting “I have seen the light” on Disney’s Instagram post.

He also expressed his excitement for the live-action remake, sharing a photo on his Instagram Story comparing himself to the animated Flynn Rider and writing that he was incredibly thankful.

The 24-year-old added, “I will do him justice I promise.”

Teagan, 21, playfully acknowledged she’s new to the entertainment world, jokingly commenting “OMGGG WHO ARE THEYYYY” on Disney’s Instagram post.

Who will play Mother Gothel, Rapunzel’s villainous caretaker, is still unknown. Although Scarlett Johansson was previously considered for the role, there hasn’t been an official announcement about who will play her.

Mandy is really excited about potentially joining the cast, and she’s even thought of a way her character could be included in the live-action adaptation.

Who Is Milo Manheim?

Milo Manheim is famous for playing Zed in Disney’s Zombies movies and series. He comes from a creative family – his mother is actress Camryn Manheim and his father is former model Jeffrey Brezovar. Milo started acting on TV in 2009, appearing with his mom in an episode of Ghost Whisperer. In 2018, he was a runner-up on Dancing With the Stars with partner Witney Carson. He made his feature film debut in 2023’s Journey to Bethlehem, showcasing his singing and acting talents. He continued to pursue his musical side, taking on the role of Seymour in the off-Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors in 2025.

Who Is Teagan Croft?

Teagan Croft, an Australian actress, is widely recognized for her role as Raven in the TV series Titans. She began her career in 2016 with appearances in the Australian film The Osiris Child: Science Fiction Volume One and the soap opera Home and Away. In 2023, Croft starred in True Spirit, portraying Jessica Watson, the young woman who famously attempted to sail around the world alone at age 16.
