Snoop Dogg’s Golden Globes 2026 Appearance Gets Standing Ovation

Snoop Dogg’s latest appearance ain’t nothing but a Globes thing.

Snoop Dogg received a standing ovation at the 2026 Golden Globes in Beverly Hills on January 11th when he took the stage to present the first-ever award for Best Podcast. He shared with the audience that this new category was particularly meaningful to him. (You can find a complete list of the night’s winners here.)

He joked during the show, hosted by Nikki Glaser, that before podcasts became popular, he was the thing people listened to while driving. He then playfully warned podcasters that they should hope he doesn’t decide to start his own podcast.

After giving the award to Amy Poehler for her podcast, Good Hang, the Parks and Recreation star said she was excited to be on stage with the legendary hip-hop artist.

Holding her award, she said, ‘This is exactly what I imagined – Snoop presenting it to me.’ She added, ‘I’m not always a fan of award shows, but when they nail it, it feels perfect.’

Snoop wasn’t the only highlight of the show. Comedian Nikki started her routine by playfully teasing people in the audience, including Leonardo DiCaprio, and made jokes about his tendency to date younger women.

“You’ve had an incredible career,” she said to him. “So many memorable performances, working with all the best directors… and three Golden Globes, plus an Oscar!”

She added, “What’s really amazing is that you achieved all of this before your girlfriend even turned thirty. It’s incredible!”

Luckily, the actress from One Battle After Another found the moment funny, and so did Timothée Chalamet when she playfully focused on him.

She praised the actor, known as Marty Supreme, for his commitment, saying he was the first to bulk up for a ping pong movie role. She noted he gained over 60 ounces of muscle, which she found incredible. He was sitting with his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, when she told him.
