Golden Globes 2026: See Julia Roberts & Danny Moder’s Rare Date Night

You definitely won’t want to miss seeing Julia Roberts and Danny Moder at the 2026 Golden Globes – it’s going to be a major event!

Julia Roberts and her husband of 23 years had a rare night out at an award show hosted by Nikki Glaser on January 11th.

Even though Danny didn’t pose with Julia on the red carpet, he was with her inside The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles while she chatted with Golden Globes winner Teyana Taylor. They were seated near Julia’s close friend and colleague George Clooney and his wife, Amal.

Julia attended the ceremony, which was broadcast on CBS and streamed on Paramount+, as a nominee for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama for her role in After the Hunt.

The actress shared that Danny helped her connect with her costars, Ayo Edebiri and Andrew Garfield, when they first started working on the psychological thriller. Danny hosted a script read-through at their home, inviting the entire cast and director, Luca Guadagnino.

My husband and I weren’t really prepared for how big things would get when we offered to host everyone,” Julia shared with Zuri Hall during LIVE from TopMob: Golden Globes 2026. “Before I even had a chance to suggest it, Luca asked if they could come to our house instead.”

She continued, “It was kind of life-affirming, really. It was beautiful.”

So, what is she and Danny like as hosts?

Even with a busy life, we always kept up with the everyday tasks like cooking, cleaning, and tidying,” said Julia, mother to 21-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, and 18-year-old Henry. She added, “It was demanding, but ultimately rewarding.”
