After a long wait, Hytale is now available in early access, letting players experience the game for themselves. It’s often compared to Minecraft.
Currently, the game is only playable on computers, which means many people with other devices can’t access it yet.
Many players are wondering if Hytale will be released on consoles. Here’s what the game’s creators have shared about those plans.
Will Hytale come to console? What the developer has said
Basically, Hytale is planned for consoles eventually, but it’s still a long way off.
Hytale is still under development and isn’t quite finished, so the creators have released it as an early access game. This allows them time to fix any problems and improve the game before the official launch.
The game isn’t on Steam yet because the developers are focusing on polishing it and ensuring it’s ready for release.

It’s unlikely we’ll get a console version of Hytale until the game is fully launched, and even then, it might take more time after that.
Here’s what the devs have said on the official Hytale website:
Hytale will initially be available on PC only. We do plan to release it on consoles in the future, but that will take significant work to our server systems, so it’s not a priority for us at the moment.
“For now, we would like to focus on making a good game first.”
Here’s the latest on Hytale: it is planned for consoles, but it will be quite a while before it’s released. We know that’s disappointing, but unfortunately, that’s the current situation.
