Nikki Glaser Confirms She Babysat This Euphoria Actress

Nikki Glaser and Judd Apatow are more than just funny people.

During the 2026 Golden Globes, director Judd Apatow joked that comedian Nikki Glaser used to babysit his children, Maude, 28, and Iris, 23, with Leslie Mann. Glaser then confirmed that the story was true.

During the award show on January 11th, Judd revealed that Nikki Glaser was once their babysitter. He added that she would often tell them she performed stand-up comedy.

The Feel Pretty actress confirmed the story with a post on her Instagram Stories on January 12th, adding a caption to a screenshot that read, “100% true. Summer 2007.”

Nikki has talked before about her experience caring for Iris and Maude, and she’s mentioned that being a nanny wasn’t what she hoped for in a job.

In a 2011 interview with Vulture, she revealed she used to babysit for Judd Apatow while living in Los Angeles. She described it as a good job, but admitted it was frustrating to be near someone so talented while being seen only as his nanny.

She added, “I’ll just never love your kid as much as you do. It’s impossible.”

The comedian continued to enthusiastically compliment Maude, Iris, and their family, explaining that watching them had given her even more inspiration for her work.

She told The Washington Post that the children were hilarious, and it made her wish she’d been raised in a family that loved comedy.

Their friendship isn’t over, though, as Nikki and Judd are collaborating on another project. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she’ll be starring in, co-writing, and producing a new romantic comedy with him for Universal Pictures – and it’s described as having a bit of an edge.

Nikki once again hosted the Golden Globes, showcasing her comedic talent for the second year in a row. Immediately after the show, she shared her excitement on Instagram, calling it “the best job with the best people.”
