Jessica Simpson Reacts to Rumors She’s the Next Bachelorette

Jessica Simpson’s dating life isn’t a public affair. 

The singer of “With You” is doing just fine finding romance after her separation from Eric Johnson, and she’s definitely not interested in finding a partner through reality television.

When asked if she might be the next Bachelorette, the 45-year-old told TMZ she’s considering her choices and doing well.

Jessica dismissed the idea of appearing on the show, even when told it would attract a large audience, stating she wasn’t interested in ratings.

Since announcing her split from Eric last January, Jessica has been open about what she wants in a relationship. The singer, who has three children – Maxwell, 13, Ace, 12, and Birdie, 6 – with her ex-husband, a former NFL player, jokingly suggested she might be entering a phase where she dates younger men.

She recently told Extra that she’s attracted to younger men. She’s realizing they seem to appreciate the confidence that comes with being an older woman.

As Jessica noted about her romantic life, “I am having fun!”

Jessica is starting to date again, but her priority is keeping a good relationship with her ex for the sake of their children. They recently showed how well they get along by attending Ashlee Simpson Ross’s comeback performance in Las Vegas together.

“We’re a close-knit team, and supporting each other is key,” Jessica shared with TopMob News back in September.

The actress, known for her role in All’s Fair, also explained that Eric participates in the holidays so their children can continue to have a relationship with him, even during this difficult time.

In a recent interview with TMZ, Jessica emphasized the importance of respecting your child’s other parent. She explained that children are half made up of each parent, so it’s crucial to speak positively about the other parent in front of them to help them form a healthy perspective. She also highlighted that unconditional love is key.
