Forza Horizon 6 is Apparently Launching on May 19th, According to Alleged Pop-up in Forza Horizon 5

Everything suggests Forza Horizon 6 will be a huge success, even before we’ve seen it in action. Unless something unexpected happens with the developers, Playground Games, the game is shaping up to be a winner. We’ll get a full look next week at the Xbox Developer_Direct, but the release date might have been accidentally revealed ahead of time.

Xbox recently posted a picture on Twitter that seems to be from within the game Forza Horizon 5. The image advertises pre-orders for Forza Horizon 6, and includes a Ferrari J50 as a bonus for those who pre-order. The game is reportedly scheduled to release on May 19th, but players who buy the Premium Edition will be able to start playing four days early. The Premium Edition also comes with extra perks like VIP membership, a Welcome Pack, a Car Pass, two expansion packs, and the Italian Passion Car Pack – all available after the game launches.

Besides the Time Attack Car Pack, the game feels similar to the previous installment. However, it launches with over 550 cars, an increase from the 500+ available in Forza Horizon 5. Playground Games also promotes this version as the largest open-world driving experience in the Forza Horizon series, a claim they made back in September 2025.

The user says this image showed up in the game after they started driving and before reaching their destination. While this might not be accurate, the timing does fit with previous rumors of a release in the first half of the year. We should know for sure on January 22nd, so keep an eye out for updates.
