Michael remains friends with his former co-star Drew Barrymore from the movie Never Been Kissed. He even confessed on her talk show in 2021 that he developed a crush on her while filming a kissing scene for the 1999 romantic comedy.
Michael told Drew, 50, that after he walked to the pitcher’s mound, they hugged and then started kissing. He said he wasn’t expecting it at all, and it caught him off guard because he was young and had feelings at the time.
