This has left fans wondering if Tom Holland will return as Peter Parker for the upcoming Doomsday event. The situation is critical, as heroes from the main Marvel Cinematic Universe (Earth-616) will clash with those from the X-Men universe (Earth-10005). The Fantastic Four (Earth-828) and other heroes will be caught in the middle, all while Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.) tries to take over the entire multiverse.

While Brand New Day focuses on a more grounded Peter Parker, acting as a local “Neighborhood Spider-Man,” it seems distant from the large-scale cosmic events coming in Avengers: Doomsday. It just wouldn’t make sense to bring Spider-Man along for a mission like that. Avengers: Doomsday Almost Certainly Has More Than One Spider-Man

While we can’t say for sure, most of the leaks about the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday movie suggest that Spider-Man characters from other films will appear in it.

According to a recent leak, the movie Avengers: Doomsday might begin with a scene set on Earth-96283 – the world where Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man lives. Apparently, this version of Spider-Man, known as Peter 2, is briefly shown before being unexpectedly pulled away through a portal.

According to another recent leak, Peter Parker from a different universe (Peter 2) will be taken by the TVA for a bigger purpose: creating a team of heroes called the “Multiversal Avengers.” This team, which we won’t fully reveal to avoid spoilers, will include both Peter 2 and Peter 3, and they’ll be involved in a crucial fight to defend the TVA.

Although it hasn’t been officially confirmed, it seems very likely that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will appear in Avengers: Doomsday.
