Konami’s WBSC eBaseball: Power Pros is a baseball game that’s really popular in Japan, though not as well-known in the US. If you’re looking for a baseball game and prefer a more fast-paced, arcade-style experience compared to realistic simulations like MLB The Show, this game is definitely worth considering.
Why Is Konami Shutting the Game Down?
WBSC eBaseball: Power Pros launched in 2023, so its shutdown after only three years is surprisingly fast. Konami also stated that while this part of their eSports involvement is ending, the WBSC’s journey isn’t over. They’re already looking forward to launching the WBSC eBaseball Series 2.0 and thank everyone for their support. They promise to share more details about the future soon.
