Capcom recently showed off a special Nintendo Switch 2 Pro controller inspired by their upcoming game, Resident Evil Requiem. The controller will be available when the game launches on February 27th. It works exactly like other Pro Controllers for the Switch 2 – you can see it in the pictures below.
The controller also includes unique artwork inspired by the game, such as a newspaper detailing key story points – including the Raccoon City Police Department incident from Resident Evil 2 and the secrets of Elpis. The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller Resident Evil Requiem Edition will cost $99.99.
The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller, a special Resident Evil Requiem Edition, is designed to enhance your gaming experience. It features a sleek, gunmetal-black finish and incorporates newspaper clippings from the game world to create a truly dark and immersive atmosphere, according to Nintendo’s official description.
I’m so excited! Capcom just announced they’re teaming up with Nintendo to release a new amiibo based on Resident Evil Requiem! I checked the official website after the presentation, and it looks like it’ll be a figure of Grace Ashcroft. We’ll have to wait until Summer 2026 to get our hands on it, but it’s definitely going on my wishlist!
Capcom confirmed that Resident Evil Requiem will launch at the same time as Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition and Resident Evil Village Gold Edition on the Nintendo Switch 2. Each of these releases will include all previously released downloadable content.
