Stunning Action Platformer Majogami Sheds Switch Console Exclusivity for PS5

I’m so excited! Inti Creates just announced that Majogami, their awesome action platformer, is finally coming to PS5 on May 28th! It used to be exclusive to the Switch, but now even more of us can play it!

The game originally came out late last year and is now coming to PlayStation with a big update. This update includes 12 new combat challenges designed to give players more reasons to keep playing.

Majogami is a fast-paced 2D action game created by Yuji Natsume, known for his work as the illustrator of the Blaster Master Zero series. In the game, you play as Shiroha, wielding her katana, Kamikiri, to battle terrifying creatures in a strange world made of paper crafts.

This game shares some similarities with Puppeteer and Muramasa: The Demon Blade. If you enjoyed either of those games, you’ll probably enjoy this one too.

A special physical edition of the game will be released in Japan, including an art book and a two-disc soundtrack. It’s currently unknown if this version will be available in North America or Europe.

The complete game includes more than 35 levels and 13 challenging bosses. When it launched on Nintendo Switch, it was well-received, earning an average score of 76 on Metacritic.
