After almost four years of anticipation, Gryphline’s action RPG Arknights: Endfield – a spin-off of the popular tower defense game Arknights – will launch next week. To mark the occasion, the publisher held a special event and revealed that over 35 million players have pre-registered (an increase from 30 million+ last month). Those who pre-registered will receive free in-game rewards, including the 5-star Operator Snowshine.
As a huge fan, I was blown away by the latest updates! They dropped not one, not two, but three new trailers, and one of them was seriously epic – set to Starset’s “We Are Empire.” The game takes place on Talos-2 in the future, and you play a role in dealing with a massive crisis. You’re tasked with starting something called the Zeroth Directive as you try to bring peace to the moon and everyone living on it, all while facing off against the Endministrator, the head of Endfield Industries.
You’ve woken up with amnesia, and unfortunately, nobody else fully remembers the important details of a plan called the Directive. No big deal, right? While you’re trying to piece things together, you’ll also be leading a team of four in fast-paced battles, and building up a massive industrial complex to gather resources and create everything you need.
Arknights: Endfield will be available on January 22nd for iOS, Android, PC, and PlayStation 5. The game offers enhanced visuals with DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation, and supports PlayStation DualSense (with haptic feedback), DualShock, and Xbox controllers. Players can also experience gameplay at a smooth 120 frames per second. For a complete overview, check out our detailed guide before you start playing!
