Reanimal is Getting A Friend Pass, But It’s Not Guaranteed for Launch

As a huge fan of Tarsier Studios, I’ve been really hoping we’d be able to experience the terror of Reanimal with friends, and it’s finally happening! They just announced on Twitter that a Friend Pass is coming, which means we’ll get to play with others. They’ll share more details in the next few weeks, and I can’t wait!

There’s a slight catch: the Friend Pass might not be ready when the game first launches. Tarsier Studios announced on Discord that they can’t promise it will be available immediately, but they’re doing everything they can to make it available quickly. They’ll share more details soon, so be sure your friends are prepared for a scare!

If you’re familiar with games like It Takes Two and Split Fiction from Hazelight Studios, the Friend Pass allows you to invite a friend to play with you, even if they don’t own the game. But just like Little Nightmares 3, Reanimal can be fully enjoyed on your own, so you won’t need a friend to experience it.

The spooky adventure game will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2 starting February 13th. It was fully developed last month. A demo is now available on the Switch 2, following releases on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation last November. Unlike Little Nightmares 3, this game supports local co-op, which is a great fit for playing together on Nintendo’s console.

Want to see what the game is like? The newest gameplay footage shows off some areas you haven’t seen before, and gives you a sense of the huge, frightening threats players will face.
