For a limited time, Xbox One and Xbox Series X players can download and play four EA games at no cost. If you’re an Xbox Game Pass member, you get three more free EA games to try. Keep in mind these aren’t games you get to keep forever – they’re only free to play until January 18th.
Xbox users can currently download and play four EA sports games for free, even without an Xbox Game Pass subscription: EA Sports FC 26, College Football 26, Madden NFL 26, and NHL 26 – essentially, all of last year’s big EA Sports releases. If you’re not a fan of sports games, this won’t appeal to you, but it’s a good chance to try them out and see if any are worth buying. If you do have Xbox Game Pass, you get all four of those games plus three more: F1 25, UFC 5, and PGA Tour – all included with your subscription.

If you’re playing on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, or Xbox One and want to try out these free downloads, keep in mind they’re also on sale if you enjoy them and want to keep playing. Here’s a look at the prices on the Microsoft Store: EA Sports FC 26 is $27.99, Madden NFL 26 is $62.99, EA Sports College Football is $62.99, NHL 26 is $27.99, F1 25 is $34.99, UFC 5 is $62.99, and EA Sports PGA Tour is $10.49. These sale prices, like the free trial, will disappear at the beginning of January 19.
Many of these games are part of EA Play, and since EA Play is included with Xbox Game Pass, some Xbox players might already be able to play them at no extra cost. However, a few of the EA titles aren’t included in EA Play, meaning this is the first time they’ve ever been offered as free downloads.
