NVIDIA’s CEO, Jensen Huang, recently predicted a far-off future with an incredibly powerful AI – one he describes as existing on a massive, almost unimaginable scale. He acknowledges this “God AI” is still very distant – not happening anytime in the next decade – but the concept is already causing discussion. Some wonder if this is simply a marketing tactic to strengthen NVIDIA’s leading position in the AI field, while others see it as a serious consideration of technology’s potential long-term impact.
Generative AI has the potential to reshape society more profoundly than any previous invention, fueled by the massive investments—hundreds of billions of dollars—being made in its development.
Google DeepMind’s CEO, Demis Hassabis, believes we’re close to creating artificial general intelligence (AGI), but worries society isn’t prepared for the consequences. However, OpenAI’s CEO, Sam Altman, thinks AGI will arrive quickly with less dramatic impact than many expect.
Interestingly, several influential people have recently shared their thoughts on the future of technology. Last year, Joe Rogan suggested that if Jesus were to return today, he’d likely appear as artificial intelligence. More recently, NVIDIA’s CEO, Jensen Huang, has predicted that a powerful, almost divine AI might one day exist (according to a post by Haider on X).

According to the executive:
As a researcher in this field, I believe the idea of achieving what you might call ‘God AI’ – a truly omniscient and all-powerful artificial intelligence – is incredibly distant. We’re not talking years or even decades; it’s likely on the scale of biblical or even galactic timeframes. Trying to map a path from our current AI capabilities to that level of intelligence isn’t productive. Frankly, I don’t think any company seriously believes they’re close to achieving it, and I haven’t seen any evidence suggesting researchers have the means to even begin creating such a system.
Huang explains that a ‘God AI’ would need an exceptional understanding of complex fields like human biology, genetics, molecular science, protein structure, amino acids, and physics. However, he states definitively that such an AI doesn’t currently exist.
We shouldn’t wait for a perfect, all-powerful AI to solve our problems and allow progress. It’s unlikely to appear anytime soon, but the world can’t afford to pause while we wait. We need to keep moving forward now, and in the years to come.
NVIDIA CEO, Jensen Huang
The executive believes AI represents the future of the computer industry. They expect companies will increasingly need to incorporate AI, just as they now rely on it for everyday tasks.

The news follows recent warnings from Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates about how quickly generative AI is improving. He’s urging the creation of rules and regulations to guide its development and use. Gates believes this technology could be used to create a bioterrorism weapon, potentially posing a greater threat to the world than the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jensen Huang’s recent presentation on “God AI” has sparked a lot of discussion. Some see it as simple marketing, while others worry it hints at a potentially dangerous future for artificial intelligence. Regardless of whether it’s a serious prediction, a joke, or just a promotional tactic, people online are already debating its true meaning and implications.
