The Scrubs Revival Will Mix Original Details With New Approaches
At first, some fans were skeptical about bringing the show back, but creator Bill Lawrence explained that the revival isn’t about making money. He emphasized they’re only doing it because they have a compelling story to tell, and they’re even bringing back some of the original writers. Zach Braff, the show’s star, also confirmed the revival will include both new and returning writers.
Braff mentioned the writing team is full of new talent, alongside some experienced writers, and he believes this diverse group will be key to solving the creative challenges they’re facing.

The cast also includes Francois Dubois as the energetic and critical co-charge nurse, and X Mayo as Pippa Raymond, a co-charge nurse known for her sarcasm and love of gossip.
