Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment have confirmed they’re working on a third Star Wars Jedi game, following Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (2019) and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (2023). Though the game is in development, they haven’t officially announced or revealed anything about it yet. This means we still don’t know when it will be revealed, when it will be released, or which platforms it will be on – and we have no details about the game itself. While official information remains scarce, some unofficial details have recently surfaced.
So, I was listening to a podcast with Tim Gettys from Kinda Funny – he’s usually not someone who leaks game info, but he definitely knows people in the industry. And he dropped a little hint about Star Wars Jedi 3 that I think fans will be really interested in!
Star Wars Jedi 3 Release Date Soon
According to industry insider Gettys, we can expect to not only see Star Wars Jedi 3 announced this year, but also released. While it’s unusual for a game to be revealed and launched in the same year, the first two Star Wars Jedi games followed this pattern, suggesting the same approach will be used for the third installment.
Gettys hasn’t announced when the game will be shown, but based on past releases and other Star Wars games, a reveal in May is likely. This is because May 4th is Star Wars Day.
Keep in mind that this information is unconfirmed. While sources at Kinda Funny are usually accurate when they share news, this hasn’t been officially announced and could change. So, it’s best to view this as potentially inaccurate and subject to updates.
As of right now, neither EA nor Respawn Entertainment has officially responded to this report or the rumors surrounding it, and we don’t anticipate they will. However, we’ll be sure to update this article if they do, regardless of how much detail they provide. We’d love to hear your thoughts, so feel free to leave a comment or join the discussion on our ComicBook Forum.
