Lisa Barlow is going the distance over a recent celebrity encounter.
When the star of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City said she missed a cast trip because she was with Ben Affleck for a work event, Affleck admitted he didn’t quite remember the meeting clearly.
He told Access Hollywood in an interview on January 16th that he didn’t want to cause problems for anyone, and he wasn’t sure what was being discussed – possibly an event that happened in Salt Lake City.
In fact, Ben, 53, couldn’t pinpoint the last time he visited the area.
He confessed he hadn’t visited Utah in eight to ten years. Seeing a photo of the reality star didn’t jog his memory, and he admitted it didn’t look familiar. He added that he didn’t want to risk saying something that might embarrass her.
The actor from Gone Girl explained he wasn’t disagreeing with Lisa’s account, noting he’d had comparable experiences before.
I encounter many people and greet them, so I don’t want to seem rude by pointing out if they don’t remember me. It’s natural to not recall everyone you’ve met.
However, Lisa, age 51, remembered the situation much more clearly, explaining precisely when and where it happened.

She mentioned on Instagram that she saw The Accountant 2 at SXSW in Austin, Texas, in March, and thought both the movie and the party were great.
Lisa previously explained she couldn’t join her Real Housewives of Salt Lake City castmates on their RV trip because she was at a festival – though she didn’t mention which one. She chose to focus on work instead of going on the trip.
She explained to her costar, Angie Katsanevas, during the season six premiere of the Bravo series that people often don’t realize how busy she is because she prefers to keep her personal life private. She mentioned spending time with Ben and Blake Lively, but didn’t offer any further details.
Lisa’s been busy making waves with some important people! Now, find out where TopMob ranks her among all the stars of the Real Housewives franchise.

Bravo’s reality show about Washington D.C. featured four women—Mary Amons, Lynda Erkiletian, Cat Ommanney, and Stacie Scott Turner—who didn’t exactly make a lasting impression. And then there was one cast member so eager for attention that she actually crashed a party at the White House. We’ll get to her story shortly.

Who?

Vaguely familiar, but…

Once upon a time, DeShawn starred on the same TV show as NeNe Leakes. Surprising, we know.

This one-season Housewife brought nothing to the Orange County table.

The newest cast member on The Real Housewives of Utah had a very public and controversial exit. In January 2022, Jennie was let go from the show after old, offensive Facebook posts with racially insensitive content were discovered online. She later issued an apology, but the show had already decided to terminate her contract.

Her defining trait was “cougar.”

Dr. Jen wasn’t known for causing trouble during season 16, and her short-lived marital issues with her husband, Ryne, weren’t very exciting. But we’ll always remember her getting noticeably drunk on wine at the Dubrows’ incredibly awkward – but surprisingly fun – dinner party.

The nurse anesthetist’s show had a disastrous first season, largely remembered for one embarrassing incident—now unfortunately known as ‘Esophagus-gate’.

Katie frequently talked about her charitable efforts, but didn’t really offer much else when filming. She made a brief appearance and didn’t seem to connect with the other cast members. Plus, leaving the cast trip early is a major breach of etiquette in the world of reality television.

Charrisse is mostly remembered for her highly publicized marriage troubles during her two seasons on the show, and, of course, her famous champagne room.

A one-and-done Housewife, Shamari was at least fun?

Although it was refreshing to see some diversity on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Peggy ended up being a difficult cast member in season 12. Her arguments were strange and often stemmed from misunderstandings of simple words, and her decision to isolate herself during the Iceland trip showed she wasn’t well-suited for the show’s lifestyle.

Nneka’s first season on the show focused on a surprising and dramatic conflict: she claimed Wendy Osefo’s mother practiced witchcraft. It’s a shame they didn’t connect over their Nigerian heritage instead of being stuck in this unresolved feud. We were hoping to see them bond!

Noella brought a lot of energy to season 16 of the show. Although viewers felt for her because of her difficult personal life – her husband, James, unexpectedly filed for divorce right before filming began – it was her ongoing conflict with Heather Dubrow that kept her from being seen as the least interesting cast member. Perhaps with more time on the show, viewers will connect with Noella.

It’s rare to see a Real Housewife’s reputation decline so quickly. One season she was a peacemaker, and the next she was constantly complaining – even over a thrown cake – and making baseless accusations of anti-Semitism. That marked the end of her time on the show.

It seemed like Amber and her husband, Jim, were acting out of desperation. And Jim, in particular, appeared much more caught up in the drama than Amber, which didn’t look good for him.

The only thing most people recall about Karent is her profession – she was a dentist. And apparently, her colleagues didn’t care for her much. Moving on!

This was a real person with a show on Bravo. We promise.

Jules was only on RHONY for one season, so it’s hard to place her higher on a ranking, but she definitely brought the drama during her time on the show.

So unnecessary they couldn’t even get individual taglines.

Similar to Sara Al Madani, Nina showed how a modern Arab woman can be successful while still honoring her culture and traditions. She generally stayed out of the drama during the first season, and her quieter personality sometimes meant she didn’t get as much attention as some of the other cast members.

Taleen joined the second season of RHODubai and made a positive impression, but it’s hard to get a complete picture of her personality after just one season of the show.

Though known from America’s Next Top Model, this reality star didn’t make a big impact on The Real Housewives of Atlanta beyond her long pregnancy. She did deliver a memorable confrontation with Marlo Hampton while in Tokyo, though!

Usually, we like to see how a new Housewife does over at least one full season before ranking them highly. But Katie made a huge impact right away on season 18 of RHOC, immediately challenging veteran Housewife Heather Dubrow. It takes real courage to question someone like Ms. Fancypants!

To be frank, Stephanie didn’t really impress us. Although she had the potential to be a great Housewife because of her wealth, we were turned off by how she constantly flaunted her private jet and used it to try and control the other women on the show during season seven.
Maybe Steph can redeem herself if she returns for season eight.

Sara had a cheerful and optimistic attitude, which made her a pleasure to be around, though things were usually quite calm around her—except for the time she gave co-star Caroline Brooks some unsolicited parenting advice! More importantly, she challenged common ideas about modern Muslim women in the Middle East, and we admire her for doing so.

The new cast members on season 13 of RHONJ quickly fell into the familiar pattern of New Jersey Housewives, getting caught up in a season-long argument over something insignificant – a conflict even Andy Cohen admitted was pointless. Sadly, their second season didn’t offer much more depth either.

Larsa Pippen didn’t stand out much during her initial appearance on the show. When The Real Housewives of Miami returned in 2021, a major focus of her story was her past friendship with Kim Kardashian – and her side hustle selling photos of her feet online.

After appearing on Bravo TV for one season, Ana tried out for season 12 of Next Food Network Star in 2016, but wasn’t selected.
