Colleen addressed reports claiming she was gravely ill, stating on Facebook on January 17th that she is now cancer-free.

Colleen is thankful for the care she received from her doctors, jokingly saying, “They really took care of me – absolutely!”

Colleen recently shared good news, following her earlier update about her cancer journey and the results of her genetic testing.

In a Facebook post on January 9th, she explained that her cancer wasn’t caused by her family’s genes, nor by the two most common causes: HPV and hormone imbalances. She believes it was likely due to factors related to her lifestyle, such as a lack of exercise, an unhealthy diet, and stress.

Despite her success, the author joked about the changes she would need to make to her daily life.

She admitted she’s thankful for life, but has a few strong dislikes. Top of the list? Vegetables, exercise, and even being proven wrong by science. She jokingly warned people not to compliment her at the gym, and if she’s seen eating healthy at a restaurant, it probably means she’s not happy about it.

In October, Colleen announced on Instagram that she would be unable to attend the premiere and promotional events for the movie Regretting You, which is based on her book. She explained that she needed surgery and wouldn’t be able to travel for some time.

She asked her fans to share their opinions on the movie, which features McKenna Grace, Mason Thomas, Dave Franco, and Allison Williams.

She added that she’d be enjoying the movie through everyone else’s experiences. She was disappointed to miss the release and premiere, but expressed her gratitude to the actors and the entire team who worked on the film.
