Some Marvel fans recently spotted a new, unofficial poster for Spider-Man: Brand New Day in a few theaters. Although Avengers: Doomsday is expected to be Marvel’s biggest film this year, Brand New Day, starring Tom Holland as Spider-Man, is predicted to be a major box office success in 2026. Despite being just over six months away from release, Sony and Marvel haven’t started the official marketing for the sequel yet.
A movie theater recently displayed a poster for the upcoming Marvel and Sony film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Shared online by X user @MCUverse_, the poster features a close-up of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man mask. Reflected in the eyes is the Hulk rushing forward. The poster includes the text, “New friends, new enemies, new beginnings,” and proclaims, “A Brand New Day is coming,” along with the film’s release month.

This isn’t an official movie poster; the Hulk image was taken from the original poster for Ang Lee’s 2003 film Hulk, starring Eric Bana. Although Sony and Marvel haven’t yet released an official poster for Brand New Day, excitement is growing as the promotional campaign nears its start.

This is the second movie poster for Spider-Man: Brand New Day to be shown in theaters. The first poster appeared online in August 2025, thanks to a fan’s photo on Reddit. It featured Tom Holland as Spider-Man, hanging upside down and shooting a web.

Production on Spider-Man: Brand New Day took place between July and December 2025, and it’s currently unknown if any significant reshoots are planned. Because Marvel and Sony haven’t shared any details about the story, the release of the first trailer is highly anticipated.
The next Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, will be the fourth solo film featuring the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the second release in the MCU’s Phase 6. Tom Holland returns as Spider-Man alongside familiar faces Jacob Batalon and Zendaya, with Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner and Jon Bernthal as the Punisher also joining the cast. Fans can expect Spider-Man: Brand New Day in theaters on July 31st.
When Will Spider-Man: Brand New Day’s Promotional Tour Begin?

Marvel is heavily promoting their upcoming Avengers: Doomsday movie, which is predicted to be a record-breaker. It’s surprising, though, that we haven’t seen anything about Spider-Man: Brand New Day, since it’s scheduled to come out nearly five months before Doomsday.
Compared to other Marvel Cinematic Universe films, Thor: Love and Thunder had a surprisingly short promotional period. Its first trailer arrived just 81 days before the movie came out in 2022. Usually, Marvel releases trailers six to eight months in advance, though there have been a few exceptions, like with Doomsday.
With just six months to go until Spider-Man 4 hits theaters in July, Marvel and Sony are starting to ramp up promotion. This will be the first live-action Spider-Man movie since 2021. While the last film had a brief promotional period, this new installment—the start of a fresh trilogy for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man—is an especially significant release.
Marvel is expected to advertise either Brand New Day, Doomsday, or both during Super Bowl LX on February 8th. Although it’s unclear which will be featured, Doomsday seems more probable due to its large scope. However, since four Doomsday trailers have already been released, Spider-Man might finally get some attention at the event, as marketing for him has been quiet so far.
