Kim Kardashian recently explained that people often misunderstand her parenting style with her daughter, North. Speaking on Khloe Kardashian’s podcast, Kim clarified that North actually has many rules she needs to follow. While Kim does allow North to express herself creatively, she emphasizes that this doesn’t mean she’s overly lenient and that North is still held accountable.
The SKIMS founder then quipped North would “do it regardless.”
Kim understands people criticize her choices – like dyeing her hair, getting piercings, or experimenting with temporary tattoos and colored contacts – but she points out it’s simple to judge others.
She stressed that it’s impossible to understand what she’s going through unless you’ve experienced it yourself. She explained that she and others have to navigate challenges, both from the wider world and within their personal lives, and that they need to support each other through it all.
