It will be available in North, Central, and South America, as well as Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, and India, shortly after its release in Japan. Following the successful premiere of the new season, fans are eager to see what happens next, as the anime’s official website hints at an encounter with the enigmatic Southern Hero.
This week’s episode of Frieren and her companions involves polishing a statue of a legendary hero in a northern village. The statue isn’t of Himmel, but of the ‘Hero of the South,’ who was once known as the world’s strongest warrior. The episode will also feature Frieren recalling her first encounter with this hero. Later, while visiting Count Dach’s castle town, the group is tasked with retrieving a valuable sword from a group of demons.
What’s Next for Frieren Season 2?
The second season of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End will be shorter than the first, with only ten episodes planned. While fans are still excited about the quality of the new episodes, it won’t be as lengthy an experience as the first season.
The original manga for Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End experienced several delays, so the shorter length of this new anime season is understandable – the production team likely wants to avoid similar interruptions. We’ll have to wait and see how the remaining episodes come together.
