Cruz Beckham isn’t dancing around the family drama.
Following his brother Brooklyn Beckham’s claims of a strained relationship with their family – including an account of his mother, Victoria Beckham, behaving inappropriately at his 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz Beckham – Cruz Beckham appeared to playfully tease his brother about the story.
A 20-year-old user reacted to an Instagram post from January 19th—confirmed by TopMob News—that playfully suggested Victoria’s supposed wedding dance moves resembled her performance of the song “Not Such An Innocent Girl” at the TMF Awards in 2001. Footage from that performance shows the former Spice Girl dancing suggestively on stage, wearing leather pants and a bra top under a see-through black tank top.
As a lifestyle observer, I’ve noticed a lot of chatter online about the Beckhams! It seems Cruz, one of Victoria and David Beckham’s four children, has been actively engaging with some funny content. He recently liked an Instagram Reel from comedian Olly Hume where Olly playfully acted like the DJ at Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding, jokingly announcing a song requested by Nicola’s mom for her first dance with her son. It’s a sweet and humorous take on their special day!
When the song “Pony” by Ginuwine started playing, Olly pretended to be shocked and impressed, and jokingly commented, “Interesting moves Victoria.”

He claims she actually took over his first dance with his wife, which they’d carefully planned for weeks to a special love song. Sources said it originally made Nicola cry, and now hearing his side of things is just… a lot to process.
In a post on Instagram from January 19th, the 26-year-old explained that Marc Anthony unexpectedly called him onstage during his wedding reception. He thought he was supposed to have a dance with his wife, but his mother was waiting to dance with him instead, in what was planned to be that romantic moment in front of their 500 guests.
Brooklyn explained that the woman danced suggestively on her in public, leaving her feeling deeply uncomfortable and humiliated. She said it was the most embarrassing moment of her life.
The influencer said he and Nicola, 31, decided to have a vow renewal in August because they wanted to make happy new wedding memories, replacing the ones that caused them stress and discomfort.
Victoria and David Beckham, who also have children Romeo, 23, and Harper, 14, haven’t commented publicly on the ongoing family issues. However, their son Cruz has been willing to address the situation directly. Last December, he clearly denied reports that he and other family members had unfollowed Brooklyn and Nicola on Instagram.
Senator Cruz responded to a claim on December 20th via Instagram Stories, stating it was false. He shared a screenshot of a Daily Mail headline and explained that his parents would never unfollow him. He clarified that they—and he—had been blocked, not unfollowed.
