Capcom has revealed that martial arts master Sagat from Street Fighter 6 will make his appearance on the roster starting August 5th. You can acquire him either individually or through the Year 3 Character Pass. Expect to engage in combat with this Muay Thai expert as a playable character and also encounter him as a guide in World Tour. If you’ve had experience with Sagat in various earlier versions of Street Fighter, his repertoire feels comfortably familiar. His signature moves like the standing and low Tiger Shots; the Tiger Uppercut (with its powerful variant for sending enemies flying); and that crushing knee strike are all present. Additionally, he now boasts a fresh move called Tiger Nexus, which allows him to switch between various kicks on the fly, keeping your adversary on their toes.
In addition to his fresh appearance, Sagat will also get back his traditional outfit from Street Fighter 2 and a new stage called Proud Spire. Before he is released next month, players at EVO 2025 can try him out from August 1st to 3rd.
