If you’re looking forward to classic 2D Mario gameplay on the Switch 2, Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park will be available on March 26th. It includes extra story elements within the existing levels, plus a variety of new multiplayer modes for both team play and competition. And good news for fans – Rosalina and Luma are now playable characters!
Rosalina plays like Mario and the others, but she has a special helper named Luma who can gather coins and fight enemies. This lets another player easily join in, and the game works well with a mouse. Bellabel Park has 17 different things to do for up to four players, and you can even team up with friends using the GameShare feature. Plus, six of those attractions support up to 12 players through local wireless and online connections.
In the single-player mode, the Koopalings have invaded the Flower Kingdom and stolen the seven Bellabel Flowers. Mario and his friends need to get them back, but it won’t be simple – each Koopaling has a unique Wonder Power, like Wendy who can create portals by merging with a Cheep Cheep!
Similar to other Nintendo platforming games, Mario Wonder includes an Assist Mode that makes characters invincible and prevents damage from falling. And if you’re a huge fan, you can even pre-order a life-sized, talking Flower from the game for your home! Pre-orders start today, so don’t miss out.
