After many previews, Playground Games officially revealed Forza Horizon 6, showing off the first gameplay footage. The game will be available on Xbox Series X/S and PC on May 19th, with a PlayStation 5 version coming later in the year. For the first time in the series, Forza Horizon 6 is set in Japan, where players take on the role of a tourist competing to qualify for and join the Horizon Festival.
You’ll earn wristbands that unlock access to extra events, like Showcases and the new Horizon Rush obstacle courses. Keep playing until you get the Gold Wristband, which gives you access to the exclusive Legend Island with its own special tracks and events. Even without it, you can freely explore the rest of Japan – a massive and impressive landscape filled with both modern cities and traditional scenery, diverse environments, and plenty of vertical challenges.
Playground Games meticulously recreated the environment, paying attention to even small details like how cherry blossoms react to cars and the changing seasons. Everywhere you look, there’s something new to find, and the Adventure Journal helps you keep track of it all.
The highly anticipated Forza Horizon 6 is launching with an impressive collection of over 550 cars, including the featured Toyota GR-GT. Players can customize their rides with new body kits and aerodynamic upgrades, and even compete in the brand-new R class. Looking for a deal?
