Exciting New Cast Alert: Strictly’s Icon Joins Geek Girl Season 2!

The second season of “Geek Girl” is now being filmed, welcoming a fresh, multi-talented actor to the team who can sing and dance!

In the upcoming production, Layton Williams – recognized for his performances in Bad Education, Cabaret on the West End, and Strictly Come Dancing – is set to take on a new role alongside Em Carey and others.

In a different role, he is set to appear as Onassis, entering the clumsy modeling and academic life of Harriet Manners.

At present, his specific function remains unclear, however, production has formally started in London, as evidenced by newly released photos of the initial script reading by the crew.

As a cinephile, I spotted myself donning a canine tuxedo and freshly bald blond locks, standing alongside my on-screen partner Liam Woodrum, both of us flashing the “thumbs up” sign in our latest film shoot.

At present, there’s not much information available regarding the forthcoming season of Geek Girl, a series inspired by the hugely popular young adult novel penned by Holly Smale.

Following a high school excursion to London Fashion Week, Harriet’s life took an unexpected turn, presenting numerous challenges as she grappled with romantic entanglements, rival models, and the ruthless nature of the fashion world.

Regardless, Harriet concluded the initial season brimming with fresh self-assurance, an attribute bolstered by her colleague Nick Park (Woodrum), her agent Wilbur Evans (Emmanuel Imani), and her loving family.

In the upcoming second season, Harriet may encounter more turbulence due to the growing pressures of modeling and academic life, both of which hold significant importance for her.

If it resembles the previous task, she can certainly handle it with an awesome playlist accompanying her work!
