Morgan Stewart’s Brother Oliver Dies “Unexpectedly” at 45

Morgan Stewart and her family are mourning a devastating loss.

Previously featured on “The Rich Kids of Beverly Hills,” the show’s cast member announced that her elder sibling, Oliver, passed away on July 15th as a result of pneumonia. He was 45 years old.

Last night, I sadly and shockingly bid farewell to my elder brother, Oliver, as he passed away unexpectedly. He possessed a musical talent, creativity, a great sense of humor, and an intelligence that could only be outmatched by the fierceness of a Leo. Regrettably, his 46th birthday would have been on July 26th, and I was eager to celebrate this occasion with him in Switzerland.

She went on to say that he battled the challenging mental disorder known as schizophrenia. Tragically, he passed away recently from an unexpected bout of pneumonia. I was fortunate enough to visit him twice in the past two Aprils, for our grandma’s 99th and then 100th birthdays. We reminisced about music and childhood memories.

Morgan mentioned her stepfather, who sadly passed away in October 2023 – Herb Stewart. She reminisced about the wonderful moments we spent together with him,” Morgan stated, adding a heartfelt touch to their conversation.

The TV host went on to detail how her mother Susan Stewart encouraged them to be close growing up.

Morgan clarified, “Although Susan and I weren’t full siblings, she preferred us to be referred to as brother and sister. Despite my feelings that our relationship was somehow compromised, I now understand – if given the chance, I wouldn’t alter anything about it.

The 37-year-old, who has children Row (age 3) and Grey (age 2) with her husband Jordan McGraw, later wrote three brief messages. The initial message was directed towards her followers.

Morgan pointed out, “It’s high time you stopped hoping for people to change or trying to mold relationships that aren’t compatible. You’ve squandered a lot of energy chasing after ‘friendships’ that don’t reflect your life or social media presence. With tomorrow being never guaranteed, it’s crucial now more than ever to focus solely on realizing your full potential.

Finally, the former TopMob personality penned a heartfelt note for her mother.

She wrote that you embody strength, elegance, and poise, which everyone recognizes. I am who I am today because of you and your guidance. It’s hard to imagine how anyone could cope with losing their only son just two years after the loss of a spouse of forty years. But I believe you will find a way, and I will be there to support you every step of the journey.

Morgan finished by saying, “I didn’t think I could break. But today, I am broken.”

Morgan advised, “You’ve spent far too long yearning for people to be different or trying to mold relationships that just don’t click. You’ve squandered a lot of energy chasing after ‘friendships’ that don’t reflect your life or social media presence. Now you understand that tomorrow isn’t guaranteed, so it’s high time to channel all your efforts into realizing your full potential.

Finally, the former TopMob personality penned a heartfelt note for her mother.

She expressed, “You embody everything that’s strong, elegant, and graceful, and it shows to all. Your influence has shaped me into who I am today. It’s hard to fathom how one could endure the loss of their only son, barely two years after losing a spouse of forty years. Yet, I believe you will find your way through this difficult time. I’ll be there with you every step of the journey.

During her stint on the show Rich Kids, though she preferred keeping personal matters with Oliver under wraps, Morgan chose to discuss his mental health challenges.

She mentioned during a show in 2014 that she has an older brother who is seven years her senior. At that time, he was 22 and had been diagnosed with schizophrenia. His behavior changed significantly; he became isolated, stopped functioning, and rarely left his room. Eventually, he started hearing voices, which led to my mother taking him in for medical attention. It was then that they finally understood what was happening to him.

In that moment, Morgan observed that Oliver decided to relocate from Los Angeles to Switzerland, as it seemed to be a more fitting setting for him.

She mentioned, “I believe it impacts me deeper than I’m fully aware of.” It’s an issue I’ve never discussed with anyone else, and it seems many people wouldn’t expect me to have experienced this challenge.
