The Apprentice is back tonight, January 29th, with a fresh group of hopefuls starting a challenging and potentially life-changing competition.
Rajan Gill is one of the candidates, and he’s confident he’ll work harder than anyone else. He feels Lord Sugar’s investment isn’t just a possibility, but a necessity for his success.
Tonight, the candidates are heading to Hong Kong for a traditional challenge: they need to find and buy nine items for the lowest possible prices.
I’m really curious to see how Rajan does on The Apprentice! While we wait to find out, here’s a bit about him before his first appearance on the show.
Who is Rajan Gill?

Occupation: Pharmaceutical sales specialist
Location: Medway, Kent
Rajan Gill works in pharmaceutical sales and also runs a business specializing in TV mounting.
Rajan distinguished himself from the other candidates by saying he doesn’t believe in luck – instead, he believes people make their own good fortune through hard work and determination.
He explained that he’s worked in a variety of industries, including private equity, pharmaceuticals, and fast food. He’s also experienced hands-on work, even working on a construction site in the early morning. This has given him a complete understanding of business, from high-level strategy to the practical, physical work involved.
I’m determined to succeed, and I’ll demonstrate that throughout this competition. I won’t just wait for opportunities – I’ll create them. In a competitive environment like the boardroom, you need to be assertive and make a lasting impression.
What is Rajan Gill’s business plan?
Rajan Gill runs AV Installations, a company that installs TVs and creates custom media walls, primarily for new homes. He’d like to see these features included as a standard part of the building process from the beginning.
Rajan explained that developers can offer features like media walls, TV mounting, and wall paneling as optional extras for new homes – similar to how buyers choose flooring or kitchen finishes. This allows them to offer a modern, high-quality finish while still ensuring a quick, clean, and efficient installation process.
Does Rajan Gill have social media?
Yes, you can find Rajan Gill on Instagram at @rajangill! He frequently posts reels and photos giving a glimpse into his daily life.
His company, AV Installations, can be followed on Instagram @avinstallationsofficial.
