A game released for PlayStation 5 and 4 in 2025 has unexpectedly been removed from the PlayStation Store. While it wasn’t a major title, anyone who had added it to their PlayStation Store wishlist can no longer purchase it. The game is being taken down from all digital stores, but currently remains available for purchase on Xbox Store, Steam, and the Nintendo eShop.
The PlayStation 5 game Sociable Soccer 25, developed by Amuzo Games and Tower Studios, has been removed from the store. It originally launched on PC in 2024 and came to consoles in April 2025. This means it was taken off the store less than a year after its console release, which is faster than usual for a game delisting. While games are often removed from digital stores, this happened remarkably quickly.
Why the PS5 Game Is Being Delisted
As usual, the reason for removing the game isn’t clear. However, the game is still fully playable for current owners, as the servers are still running. While the servers won’t stay online forever, there’s no immediate plan to shut them down, and the developers have promised to give players advance notice when that time comes.
In a recent announcement, the game developers expressed gratitude to players for their enthusiasm and support. They explained that the game is being removed, but this is part of an exciting change as they move forward with a new game called Sociable Soccer Champions. They hope to see both familiar and new faces join them in this next chapter of arcade-style football.
It’s still uncertain what the future holds for the series, but the recent announcement hints that more content is planned. The reason the PlayStation version was removed from sale before others isn’t clear, but it likely just means PlayStation processed the request faster. The other versions will be removed soon, probably within the next few hours or days.
