Snoop Dogg’s Daughter Cori Broadus Mourns Death of 10-Month-Old Baby

Snoop Dogg‘s family is navigating a tragic loss.

Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, announced the heartbreaking loss of her and fiancé Wayne Deuce’s 10-month-old daughter, Codi Dreaux, on January 31st. Codi, who was born three months early, passed away on January 26th, only 20 days after being discharged from the NICU.

Cori shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram that her partner, Codi, had passed away. She posted a photo with their daughter, writing, ‘Monday, I lost the love of my life. My Codi.’

Wayne shared a heartfelt message about his daughter, Codi Dreaux, on Instagram. He wrote that he’s been deeply saddened since her passing, but finds comfort knowing she’s now at peace, and that he will always love her.

It was just three weeks ago that Cori shared footage of Codi after leaving the hospital.

She announced on Instagram on January 6th that she was finally home, expressing gratitude for all the prayers, messages, and support she received, and attributing her recovery to divine intervention.

Cori announced Codi’s arrival last February after giving birth at 25 weeks.

Cori announced on Instagram that her baby girl had arrived six months prior. She shared that she’d been struggling with feelings of inadequacy, crying and comparing herself to others, feeling like she hadn’t been the best mother. However, she ultimately found comfort in her faith, recognizing that she was supported and guided through it all.

Our baby girl arrived today at 25 weeks, and she’s absolutely perfect! I’m so grateful to God for bringing me this far in the pregnancy.

Since that time, the family has kept fans updated on Codi’s journey.

In September, Cori shared a video with her baby girl in honor of NICU Awareness Month.

Honestly, having a baby in the NICU wasn’t ever something I imagined for myself, but it’s become such a huge part of who I am now. My little one is such a fighter, and I feel like I carry that incredible strength with me always. It’s changed everything, but in a way I wouldn’t trade for the world.
