Timothée Chalamet Shares His Stance on Getting Married

Timothée Chalamet isn’t in the complete unknown about his love life.

The Dune actor is excited about the possibility of getting married someday. He and girlfriend Kylie Jenner, who began dating in 2023, have been sharing small updates about their relationship, and he recently discussed his thoughts on marriage.

I was chatting with Timothée Chalamet at a recent event hosted by Marty Supreme in London, and he playfully called me out! A fan captured it on video and shared it online. He basically said I was getting too personal with my questions and jokingly warned me I’d get him into trouble. It was a fun moment, and he definitely acknowledged the line I was walking with my curiosity!

Richard playfully asked if they could attend the event. The 30-year-old responded by asking, “Who does ‘we’ include – everyone here?”

Timothée hasn’t started planning his wedding guest list yet, but he’s already found someone to accompany him to award shows this year. He and Kylie, 28, have been publicly showing their affection at several events, including the 2026 Golden Globes on January 11th.

He gave her a lovely mention in his acceptance speech after winning Best Actor for his role as Marty Mauser in Marty Supreme.

“For my parents, for my partner, I love you,” Timothée expressed. “Thank you so much.”

I was so touched by what he said just a few days ago at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards – especially after he won Best Actor for that incredible role! He gave a heartfelt shout-out to Kylie, the founder of Khy, and thanked her for all her support while he was filming with Josh Safdie. It’s clear she’s been amazing, especially as a mom to Stormi, who’s 7, and little Aire, who’s 3, even while co-parenting with Travis Scott. It really showed how much he appreciates her!

You know, when I’m coaching people on building strong relationships, I always say it’s about having a solid foundation. Seeing someone publicly acknowledge that – like this gentleman did with his partner of three years – really resonated with me. He simply and beautifully thanked her for being that foundation, telling her he loves her and couldn’t have achieved what he did without her support. It was such a heartfelt and genuine moment, and a perfect reminder to always express your gratitude to the people you love.

Smiling from his heartfelt words, Kylie could be seen mouthing back, “I love you.” 

The couple continues to support each other, and their families – including Caitlyn Jenner – have given them their blessing.

The 76-year-old shared with reporters at Los Angeles International Airport on January 14th that his main wish is for his daughter to be happy, and he’s pleased that she is. He also emphasized how well Kylie’s partner treats her, saying it’s the most important thing to him.

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet began dating rumors in April 2023, shortly after she ended her relationship with Travis Scott, the father of her two children, Stormi (born in 2018) and Aire (born in 2022).

Timothée chuckled when GQ asked him about Kylie’s high profile and how it related to his own desire for privacy.

“This reminds me of that recent South Park episode with the Worldwide Privacy Tour,” he said, referencing the show’s parody of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. “Sometimes, people are going to be hella confused when you say you’re trying to live a private life.”

Despite not walking the red carpet together at the WSJ. Magazine Innovator Awards, the couple appeared happy and cheerful on their date night at the event.

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet both attended the Saturday Night Live after-party in November 2023, though they arrived at the event separately. Timothée had hosted the show that night.

Forget the awards – the 2024 Golden Globes felt more like a night for Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner to share a sweet, public display of affection! There were no reports of any drama to spoil their romantic evening.

Kylie accompanied Timothée to the Golden Globes for the second year in a row. At the 2025 awards show, Timothée, star of A Complete Unknown, was nominated for Best Actor in a Drama for his role in the Bob Dylan biopic. Although Adrien Brody won the award, Timothée found success with Kylie, winning in the romance category.

Although Kylie didn’t accompany Timothée to the 2025 Oscars—where he was nominated for his performance in A Complete Unknown—she did join him at the Vanity Fair after-party.

The pair went to see the Los Angeles Lakers play the Minnesota Timberwolves in Los Angeles in April 2025.

Timothée and his partner made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 70th David Di Donatello Awards in Rome, where Timothée received a special acting award.

Kylie’s sister, Kendall Jenner, accompanied her on a date to see the New York Knicks play the Boston Celtics at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

In August 2025, Kylie traveled to Budapest to see Timothée while he was filming Dune: Part Three. They met fans and took pictures with them while visiting a coffee shop.

The couple made a striking impression in matching orange outfits at the premiere of Marty Supreme in Los Angeles. Their look, featuring Chrome Hearts designs, was so memorable that Hacks stars Megan Stalter and Paul W. Downs paid tribute to it by recreating the outfits at the Critics Choice Awards in January 2026.

Timothée won Best Actor at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards for his role in Marty Supreme, and during his acceptance speech, he publicly shared his love for Kylie, who was in attendance, calling her his partner of three years.

Hearing him say ‘I couldn’t do this without you’ absolutely wrecked me in the best way! And then seeing Kylie blow him a kiss from the audience? I was a mess! It was just so genuine and heartfelt – his ‘thank you’ felt like it came straight from his soul. Seriously, a perfect moment.

Social media exploded during the 2026 Golden Globes when a photo of a name card supposedly belonging to Kylie Jenner, listing her as “Kylie Jenner Chalamet,” quickly spread online. But TopMob News, reporting from inside the Beverly Hilton, confirmed that the font on the real name cards didn’t match the one in the viral image.

Despite everything, it was a special night for the couple. Timothée acknowledged his girlfriend with a touching moment when he accepted the award for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy Film for Marty Supreme.
