The Pokémon Trading Card Game is having a fantastic year so far in 2026, and things are about to get even more exciting with the new Pokémon Chaos Rising set!
The English-language set ‘Chaos Rising’, which includes the fourth set of Mega Evolution cards, is scheduled to be released later this year.
This is the version of the Ninja Spinner set being released in the West, following its initial launch in Japan a few months prior.
Okay, so I’m super hyped for the new Pokémon TCG set, Chaos Rising, and I wanted to share the details on when it’s dropping and what kind of stuff we can expect. Basically, here’s the lowdown!
When is the Pokémon TCG Chaos Rising release date?
Pokémon TCG Chaos Rising is scheduled to release on 22nd May 2026.
The set will officially be released on this date, but there will also be early access for some before the official launch.
These will take place from 9th-17th May, building hype for the full release.

Where to buy Pokémon TCG Chaos Rising
Pre-orders for Chaos Rising aren’t available yet, so you can’t purchase it at this time.
Once it’s released, the Pokémon Center and Magic Madhouse are likely to be among the first stores to offer it.
After that, you should be able to find Chaos Rising for sale at major retailers like Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, and Target, and also at trading card game stores such as TCGPlayer.
What to expect from Pokémon TCG Chaos Rising
As of right now, we don’t know what to expect! The full card list hasn’t been officially announced, even in Japan.
The main thing we’ve confirmed is that the set will include Mega Greninja ex, the character known as Ninja Spinner in Japan.
We expect to share more details about the full collection in the next few weeks, so please visit us again for updates.
