Why Kaley Cuoco Doesn’t Share a Bed With Fiancé Tom Pelphrey Anymore

Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey have one simple rule regarding their sleeping arrangement.

The former star of 8 Simple Rules shared that she and her husband, known for Task, now sleep in separate beds. This change happened because of their different sleep patterns and the nighttime activity of their older dogs, which made it difficult for him to get enough rest. They share a 2-year-old daughter named Matilda.

I was talking with Dax Shepard and Monica Padman on the Armchair Expert podcast recently, and I shared how things started to shift in my relationship. Basically, he told me he needed space, and I totally got it. That’s when he started sleeping in the guest room – it was a really tough time, but we were trying to navigate things.

The couple seems to be thriving with their new arrangement, and the 40-year-old has described it as a major improvement.

“Tom stays up late,” she said. “I need to go to bed earlier because I’m the one who gets up with Matilda in the mornings. He prefers to be awake at night—he uses that time to write, read, and just have some peace and quiet.”

Kaley and Tom, engaged in August 2024, have made separate sleeping arrangements work for them, but Kaley wasn’t happy at first when Tom suggested it during couples therapy.

I initially worried about what others would think, but he pointed out that we never spent time together at night. He explained we weren’t intimate – we didn’t cuddle or even see each other before bed. He then asked me why it bothered me, and I realized I didn’t even care. He suggested we try changing things.

The experiment went so well that Kaley says she and Tom, 43, are happy with their new way of life and don’t plan to change it.

She was thrilled with how well he was sleeping, saying he wasn’t disturbed at all. She gets up early at 7 a.m. with her daughter, Matilda, who then climbs into bed with her. This arrangement allows her to get things done without worrying about disturbing his sleep, and it works perfectly for their family.

They were talking about this woman who believed her house was haunted by sexual ghosts, and Sara Haines asked the most unbelievable question – she wondered if you could actually get pregnant from a ghost! It was a moment, let me tell you. I couldn’t believe she even went there!

Luckily, Joy Behar, her co-host, chimed in with a humorous response: “I’ve had encounters with ghosts and haven’t gotten pregnant.”

“I’m going to leave that comment as is,” Whoopi Goldberg responded. “I’m not sure everyone heard what Joy said, but I’m choosing not to address it further.”

Beauty is pain, but Kim Kardashian might be able to stomach it.

The reality star told The New York Times she’d consider almost any procedure to look younger, joking that she was open to trying everything.

She admitted in June that she’d even consider something extreme – like eating something disgusting daily – if it meant she could look younger. She said she wasn’t ruling anything out.

Kim Kardashian told Allure in July 2022 that she was mostly kidding when she made the comment, but admitted it wasn’t a completely awful idea.

Okay, seriously, now that I’m really thinking about it… if someone promised me I’d look younger, I’d probably do absolutely anything. I mean, anything. Even if it meant eating… well, let’s just say a really unpleasant bowl of something every single day. It’s awful to admit, but I’m obsessed with staying youthful, and I’d go to extreme lengths, honestly!

When asked if she had room for more food, she said she might be able to manage a small bite, but definitely couldn’t eat a full bowl.

Jelly Roll could’ve used some saving from himself.

During an April 2025 interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the singer of “Save Me” shared a particularly embarrassing story, and he didn’t hesitate to reveal all the details.

“I pooped myself one time,” he admitted. “I did, I’m sorry.”

To be honest, Jelly Roll (whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord) didn’t intend to cause such serious harm.

He firmly believed it was just a misunderstanding. “I really apologize,” he said. “I saw the audience turn from supportive to completely against me.”
