Astrolabe Games and 91Act have revealed a new story trailer and announced who will be voicing the characters in their 2D action roguelite game, BlazBlue: Entropy Effect X.
In BlazBlue: Entropy Effect X, the voice actors from the BlazBlue series are back to play their characters in a brand-new story. This story is written by the original writers and features five new characters.
The game’s voice cast is as follows:
- Mercurius (voiced by Chie Matsuura)
- The leader of the DBS Project and head of the laboratory. Always appears in public wearing a cat-shaped mask. Speaks in a calm tone, making it difficult for anyone to discern their true thoughts.
- Ti (Dr. T) (voiced by Kenji Nomura)
- Specialized in physics, he is responsible for research on Mind Strength and Mind Crystals, as well as for maintaining and operating the DBS hardware systems. A serious and reliable individual who holds deep respect for Dr. Mercurius.
- Cafe (voiced by Takashi Hikida)
- Specialized in computer science, he is primarily responsible for data analysis (Tactic Tree), crunching numbers, and babysitting the DBS software. Although he appears rather easygoing, he is exceptionally passionate about research.
- Lime (voiced by Chiaki Takahashi)
- Specialized in psychology, she is responsible for maintaining the physical condition of each researcher (buff/debuff) and managing the lab’s resources (shop). Gentle and compassionate, she cares deeply for all her colleagues and often looks after them.
- Fox (voiced by Saki Fujita)
- Responsible for researching the Sea of Possibility itself and conducting its environmental simulations (Extra Training Ver.α / Ver.β). Usually quiet and reserved, but shows remarkable persistence when it comes to important matters
- Ragna the Bloodedge (voiced by Tomokazu Sugita)
- Jin Kisaragi (voiced by Tetsuya Kakihara)
- Noel Vermillion (voiced by Kanako Kondou)
- Rachel Alucard (voiced by Kana Ueda)
- Hakumen (voiced by Tetsuya Kakihara)
- Bullet (voiced by Toa Yukinari)
- Kokonoe (voiced by Chie Matsuura)
- Λ-No.11- (voiced by Kanako Kondou)
- Hazama (voiced by Yuichi Nakamura)
- Hibiki Kohaku (voiced by Mitsuhiro Ichiki)
- Naoto Kurogane (voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki)
- Mai Natsume (voiced by Saori Hayami)
- Es (voiced by Mayuka Nomura)
- Taokaka (voiced by Chiwa Saitou)

BlazBlue: Entropy Effect will be released on February 12th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch. A demo is currently available for PlayStation 5 and Switch players.
