I’m so excited! It’s been almost a year since Louis Theroux’s last documentary, ‘The Settlers,’ and we finally have a release date for his new film. I’ve been waiting ages for this!
Louis Theroux’s new 90-minute documentary, ‘Inside the Manosphere,’ comes to Netflix on March 11, 2026. A trailer for the film is already available.
The brief preview features Louis Theroux viewing excerpts from interviews he conducted with figures from the ‘Manosphere,’ including one who mimics his speaking style.

Louis Theroux’s new Netflix documentary takes him to Miami, New York, and Marbella to explore the world of online influencers and content creators who are part of the ‘Manosphere’ – a sometimes controversial online community.
This 90-minute film examines how influential figures – including Harrison Sullivan, Myron Gaines, Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy (also known as Sneako), Justin Waller, and Ed Matthews – are impacting how young men think about masculinity and contributing to the growing men’s rights movement worldwide.
Louis becomes deeply involved in the community, meeting key people who are challenging traditional ideas about gender and what it means to be male or female. Each person offers a unique perspective on these values.

He starts to understand their language, picking up phrases like ‘red-pilling,’ and explores what draws people to these beliefs and viewpoints. He also considers how the women close to them feel about and support these ideas.
Last year, Louis Theroux refuted claims he was leaving the BBC, clarifying that his interview series would only be pausing for the time being.
In an interview with Deadline, Theroux responded to a report in The Sun by explaining that because he already creates audio content with The Louis Theroux Podcast, it wouldn’t make sense to create a similar show for television.
He felt the points made in the article didn’t quite align, and it incorrectly suggested he was no longer creating programs for the BBC, which he clarified isn’t the case.
Basically, I’m still creating content for the BBC – I’m currently working on a BBC documentary. I also work on projects for other companies, and I have another documentary in the works for a different platform. We’ve finished discussing that topic, right?
