Jennifer Lopez Reveals If She Would Remarry After Ben Affleck Divorce

Jennifer Lopez is getting loud about her thoughts on marriage.

Just under a year since her divorce from former husband Ben Affleck, the “On the Floor” artist openly discussed the possibility of walking down the aisle again, marking what could potentially be her fifth marriage.

Jennifer expressed to the audience following her performance at her July 16th show in Bilbao, Spain, as captured in a fan video on X, that she seemed to have reached a conclusion about something. She stated she had attempted it several times before.

Beyond her marriage to Ben, she also had previous marriages: one with Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998, another with Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, she has a 17-year-old twin son Max and daughter Emme with her former husband Marc Anthony, whom she divorced in 2014 after 10 years of marriage.

Jennifer’s disagreement with legal partnerships doesn’t automatically imply any ill feelings towards Ben, whom she divorced in August 2024 after two years of marriage. To the contrary, she has shared reasons for their separation before.

Jennifer shared in an interview magazine published in October 2024 that to achieve something truly comprehensive, one must also be complete themselves. She admitted that despite thinking she had learned this lesson, it wasn’t until the summer when she realized she needed to take time for self-discovery and prove her independence.

As a die-hard fan, I’ve learned from my own journey that being entangled in relationships shouldn’t dictate who I am. Instead, I must seek my happiness not from others but by finding it deep within myself – just like the brilliant star of Hustlers so eloquently put it.

Besides the marital aspects, these unions also brought some positive outcomes for her. The most significant among them is her children, Max and Emme. Interestingly, going through a separation with Ben actually fortified their familial relationship further.

In the same interview with El Pais on May 2nd, Jennifer expressed her self-pride and also mentioned being proud of the fact that she guided her kids through tough times. She believes they have become stronger and better individuals as a result.
