Coronation Street flash-forward episode reveals 5 potential murder victims on Swarla wedding day

Mark your calendars! Carla Connor and Lisa Swain are getting married on April 23rd in Coronation Street.

The quickly planned wedding, happening at the Chariot Square Hotel, will unfortunately be followed by a tragic death.

A body was discovered on the street, and authorities are now working to identify the victim and determine how they died.

Following the current trend of unconventional storytelling, the soap opera Corrie recently aired an episode that jumped ahead in time, leaving audiences with many unanswered questions.

The show revealed that Megan Walsh (played by Beth Nixon), Theo Silverton (James Cartwright), Maggie Driscoll (Pauline McLynn), Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances Brown), and Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) could all be in danger, suggesting they might be targeted or harmed.

The story begins with Betsy Swain (played by Sydney Martin) in a police interview, explaining to detectives that she and her friend Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) found a body on their way back from town. They had gone to get Betsy’s ID.

Why she left her mum’s wedding celebrations early for a night on the tiles remains to be seen.

We were then shown a series of scenes revealing how the unfortunate residents had come to be in such dangerous situations.

Megan, who was having an inappropriate relationship with her teenage student Will Driscoll, is increasingly worried their secret will be revealed. This fear has grown since Will was arrested for assaulting Megan’s boyfriend, Daniel Osbourne, on Christmas Day.

Will was lucky his grandmother, Maggie, covered for him with a lie. However, if his secret relationship became known, it could cause a lot of conflict between the women involved. Things got even more complicated when Will’s father, Ben (Aaron McCusker), vowed to protect his son at all costs, even if it meant confronting anyone who threatened him.

Carl is focused on running the Rovers Return while his mother, Debbie, is blamed for Billy Mayhew’s death.

Honestly, it feels like most people are ready for him to leave. I think a lot of us in the community would be really happy to see him go.

Theo continued to control Todd Grimshaw, becoming increasingly manipulative. He took money from Todd’s savings jar and even suggested opening a children’s savings account for him at the bank.

Todd clutched a knife in the sink, but would he really go to such an extent to gain his freedom?

Shona’s sister, Jodie, is also competing for David’s affection and appears to be hiding a lot, so it might be time for someone to stop her manipulative behavior.

It’ll be over two months before we discover who dies, but knowing Weatherfield, time will likely fly by!

Coronation Street airs weeknights at 8:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
