Netflix has worked hard in recent years to offer a fantastic selection of anime, and they’ve largely succeeded. While their subtitles could use improvement, they deserve praise for building such a strong anime library, which includes some shows you can’t find anywhere else.
Netflix already has a fantastic selection of martial arts anime, but they were missing one key series. Thankfully, they’re adding Wind Breaker to their platform on March 2nd! In just a short time, Wind Breaker has become a popular choice for fans of classic hand-to-hand combat, and now it will be available on Netflix.
Netflix Has a Few Amazing Martial Arts Anime Series, and Now…

I’ve noticed really good martial arts anime is surprisingly rare, but Netflix seems to have collected almost all of the best ones. If you’re looking for top-quality shows like Baki and Kengan Ashura, that’s the place to go.
Many great martial arts anime, such as Jujutsu Kaisen, Hell’s Paradise, and the original Naruto, include supernatural elements. While these shows are exciting, they lack the grounded, realistic feel of series like Hajime no Ippo.
Wind Breaker is a remarkably realistic series, blending incredible fight scenes with a compelling story that remains engaging throughout.
…They Have One of the Best Currently Airing
Okay, I’m completely hooked on Wind Breaker! Seriously, this anime is quickly becoming one of the best martial arts shows out there, and I have a feeling it’s going to be remembered as a truly awesome shōnen series for years to come. It follows Haruka Sakura, a freshman who starts at Furin High – and this school is full of incredibly powerful fighters, so you know things are going to get intense!
He rapidly climbed the school hierarchy, quickly becoming the leader of the first-year students and a key figure at Bofurin. As a captain, he always led his classmates into battle, preferring to fight alongside them rather than from the sidelines.
Wind Breaker is a fantastic anime series with incredibly exciting fight scenes. It’s consistently engaging – you won’t want to skip anything! From the beginning, it’s a non-stop thrill, and Netflix did a great job adding it to their lineup.
