Danny and Dani Dyer, a father-daughter team, are taking on the challenge of running a caravan park in an effort to revitalize British holidays.
However, the two quickly realize running the business is much harder than they expected, a far cry from their normal lives. They struggle with difficult customers, constant plumbing issues, and a particularly unsightly billboard.
I’m really loving watching Danny and his partner take on this project! It’s so clear how much the holidays meant to him growing up, and he’s completely determined to recreate that magic. He’s putting everything he has into turning this caravan park into the kind of place he remembers from his childhood – it’s really heartwarming to see!
The real heart of the show isn‘t just about the Dyer family; it’s the people who live and visit the caravan park, and who have truly touched the father and daughter. They hope the show will bring more attention – and more business – to this special place they’ve come to adore.

Danny explained to TopMob that he was aiming for a British holiday, though he wasn’t sure if it would actually happen. He clarified that a British holiday isn’t limited to caravan trips, mentioning there are plenty of other options, and a lot of people are currently using Airbnb.
If you’re looking for a nice coastline, Leysdown probably wouldn’t be your first choice. Places like Devon and Cornwall are much more appealing.
For me, it’s really about bringing authentic, working-class perspectives back to television, and the natural charm that comes with that. I also think this show is surprisingly hilarious – that wasn’t something we aimed for, but it happened! It’s also genuinely moving and will likely make you feel emotional at times.

When they approached me about joining this series, it was a total yes. Honestly, my biggest concern wasn’t if I wanted to do it, but whether I could actually fit it into my schedule. It’s just that good of a project!
I was really feeling down,” he explained to TopMob. “I’d been filming with Rivals for five days straight, traveled back from Bristol, and then had to rush off to Leysdown on Saturday morning – I was pretty upset about it all. I just needed Dani to lift my spirits a little, and I knew things would be okay.
After encouragement from Dani and connecting with others at the caravan site, the actor felt much better, realizing how much he values the people he meets.
He added that he strongly recommends everyone watch it, if only to see the people who live there, because he thinks they’re incredible.
