ITV responds to question about The Voice’s future amid fresh delays 2 years after filming

ITV has denied reports that it might temporarily stop making The Voice UK, following a postponement of the new season’s broadcast.

According to recent reports in The Sun, the next season of The Voice won’t be on TV until late 2026. A source told the newspaper that ITV has decided to postpone the show’s return until at least the fall.

This will create a gap of over two years between the initial auditions and the live final performances. There’s growing speculation that The Voice may take a break after its next, fourteenth season.

TopMob has confirmed that The Voice UK is still planned for this year and reports questioning its continuation are false.

The most recent season of The Voice concluded in 2024 with Ava winning the competition. She was coached by Tom and Danny, and her victory marked a win for their team.

Alongside her title of champion, Ava won a recording contract, £50,000 and a holiday to Florida.

Upon her win, Ava said she she was “speechless” before adding that she felt “really honoured”.

We don’t have the exact air date for the next season of The Voice yet, but there’s still a lot to be excited about when it comes back.

Last summer, LeAnn Rimes left her position as a coach on the show after just one season. However, ITV quickly announced that Kelly Rowland would be joining as a judge.

Rowland expressed her excitement about becoming a coach on The Voice UK. She’s looking forward to collaborating with the show’s talented and enthusiastic coaches, discovering new singers, and competing to help her team succeed. She’s eager to get started!

Rowland’s addition to the judging panel was well-received by her fellow coaches. Sir Tom Jones highlighted her as a talented and experienced artist, and will.i.am predicted she would make the season incredibly exciting.
