Battlefield 6‘s Season 2 is now live, adding a bunch of new content to the game for players to enjoy.
The gameplay trailer below gives you a glimpse at what’s coming as the season continues:
Season 2 will be released in three parts, and the first part is available now, lasting until March 17th.
The first update introduces “Contaminated,” a large new map located in a war-ravaged European forest. Alongside the map, players can try a special, temporary game mode called VL-7, where combat is complicated by hallucinatory psychoactive smoke.
From March 17th to April 17th, a new, smaller map called Hagental Base will be added, along with a special limited-time game mode called Nightfall. Nightfall features completely dark hallways, emphasizing stealth, but players can use night vision goggles to gain an advantage.
Starting April 17th, we’re adding a special, limited-time mode called Operation Augur, playable on the two new maps. It’s similar to the Operations mode from Battlefield 1, offering longer missions with several objectives that require strong teamwork and a focus on pushing forward.
Plus, the game features new weapons, vehicles, and equipment to keep gameplay interesting and offer players more ways to customize their gear.
