I’m a huge anime fan, and honestly, the isekai genre has completely taken over! It’s amazing how many shows follow a similar idea – someone getting pulled from our normal world into a magical one – but each one finds a way to make it fresh and exciting. This year, one of the weirdest and most popular isekai series is coming back, and they just dropped a new trailer that’s got me totally hyped to jump back into its crazy world of… magical vending machines, of all things! It’s a wild ride, and I can’t wait!
The anime series Reborn As a Vending Machine, I Now Wander The Dungeon is returning for a third season! The show follows a character who is reincarnated as a vending machine in a fantasy world, offering helpful items to adventurers. Since its debut in 2023, the unique premise has gained a dedicated fanbase, making the third season a highly anticipated release in 2026. With the original creator, Hirukuma, continuing to write new light novel and manga content, there’s potential for even more seasons beyond the upcoming one. You can find a preview of the new season below.
I’m so excited to share some amazing news! The third season of “I’ve Been Reincarnated as a Vending Machine” is officially happening and will premiere in April 2026! They just dropped a first-look teaser visual, and it looks fantastic. You’ll be able to catch it on TOKYO MX, BS Nittere, and other networks. This season, the story of me – the vending machine – finally enters its final chapter! Check out the details here…

Anime’s Biggest Vending Machine Returns

I’ve noticed that Reborn As a Vending Machine, like a lot of other ‘isekai’ anime, takes place in a fantasy world that feels reminiscent of classics like Dungeons & Dragons and Lord of the Rings. It’s full of the usual fantasy elements – wizards, monsters, magical items, and all sorts of creatures. What makes this anime particularly funny is the main character, Boxxo. He can hand out magical items, which is great, but he’s… a vending machine that can’t move! He constantly needs his friends to carry him around, which leads to some really crazy and amusing situations, and I’m expecting more of that in the third season. It’s a little strange, but while the manga and light novels are still being made, the original novel series that started it all actually finished back in 2016.
Several popular isekai anime series are returning in 2026, including a third season of Reborn As a Vending Machine, I Now Wander The Dungeon’s. Fans can also look forward to the fourth season of Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World, a new season and movie for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, and the third season of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation. Despite their differences, these isekai stories have resonated with anime viewers and helped the medium gain even more popularity.
