Anna Duggar is staying paw-sitive during her husband Josh Duggar‘s prison sentence.
The 37-year-old, who has seven children – Mackynzie (16), Michael (14), Marcus (12), Meredith (10), Mason (8), Maryella (6), and Madyson (4) – with her ex-partner from 19 Kids and Counting, is now running a family business breeding English cream golden retrievers. She recently shared a rare post on social media to introduce her newest puppies.
Oh my gosh, you guys, have you seen the puppies?! She just posted the cutest video – meet Whitaker, Beaumont, and Harrington! They are the most adorable little golden fluffballs EVER, and I’m completely obsessed. She was cuddling them, and I seriously can’t handle the cuteness! She said they’re going to their forever homes soon, and honestly, I’m a little heartbroken I can’t be the one to keep them all!
In the clip, Anna said Whitaker was her “favorite” of the bunch.
She described her pets as very gentle and sweet. She explained that English creams are known for being calm and loving, and they especially enjoy cuddling.
Anna is clearly embracing a golden look! The mother of seven recently changed her hair from brunette to blonde, likely as part of promoting her new business.
Anna’s Golden Grove Pups is a family-owned breeder located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas. We specialize in raising English Cream Golden Retrievers known for their good looks and wonderful temperaments – they’re gentle, loyal, and smart, just as you’d expect from this breed.
The organization emphasizes that these dogs are raised in a warm, family setting. Because they’re around kids, other dogs, and cats from a young age, they become friendly, well-adjusted pets that easily adapt to new situations.

Anna launched her dog-breeding business in 2024. This came almost three years after her husband, Josh, was found guilty of possessing child pornography. Although Anna hasn’t spoken publicly about the charges against Josh, she previously wrote a letter to the judge handling the case in his defense.
In a 2022 letter to Judge Timothy L. Brooks, Anna explained that she and her children depend on Joshua for everything – financially, emotionally, and physically. She also noted that many others rely on him, adding that he has a gift for seeing the good in people and helping them achieve their goals.

Anna described Josh as a wonderful father and husband – kind, loving, supportive, and caring – and expressed her hope that they could reunite as a family soon.
Josh continues to claim he didn’t commit the crime, but was sentenced to 12 years in prison in 2022. He is currently serving his sentence at Seagoville Federal Correctional Institution in Texas and is scheduled for release in December 2032.

These two lovebirds have been together since high school, and their family has grown to include 19 children and over 36 grandchildren!
Michelle remembers accepting a religious faith at age 15. Shortly after, Jim Bob was visiting homes in the neighborhood as part of his church’s outreach program. A friend mentioned that a new believer and cheerleader lived at the Ruark family’s house, so Jim Bob went to their door.
Jim Bob and Michelle first met when they invited her to Sunday school at their church, and Jim Bob hoped they would become each other’s spiritual guides. However, Michelle didn’t recall the meeting being particularly memorable. A year later, Michelle applied for a job at the frozen yogurt shop owned by Jim Bob’s parents. She remembered in a 2017 birthday blog post for Jim Bob and celebrating their 33rd anniversary that he approached her at the counter, introduced himself, and was very sweet, though shy. She mostly remembered him finally working up the courage to ask her to the junior-senior banquet!
Michelle and Jim Bob first connected at a dinner held at Shiloh Christian. However, it was the hours they spent talking about the Bible at her parents’ house afterward that truly sparked a connection. As Michelle explained, that’s when they felt their hearts truly connected. They graduated high school in May 1984 and were married just two months later in July. Michelle was 17 at the time, and Jim Bob was 19.

The couple dedicated themselves to God and each other for the long run.
Jim Bob previously served as a state representative for Arkansas’s sixth district from 1999 to 2002, where he was also the vice chair of the House Corrections and Criminal Law Subcommittee. He ran for U.S. Senate in 2002 but didn’t win the primary, and in 2006, he unsuccessfully sought the Republican nomination for the Arkansas State Senate’s 35th district.
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, both real estate agents, are known for their conservative beliefs. These beliefs have made them both strong supporters and vocal critics of the reality TV show 19 Kids and Counting (originally titled 17 Kids and Counting when it began in 2008).
As of October 2024, they were grandparents of 33 with three on the way.

Josh Duggar, the oldest child in the Duggar family, was born on March 3, 1988. Like his parents, he became involved in conservative activism, working with the Family Research Council.
Josh Duggar resigned after old police records from 2015 came to light, detailing accusations that he had sexually abused several girls, including his sisters Jessa and Jill, when he was a teenager. In a June interview with Fox News, Jessa defended her brother, claiming the accusations were exaggerated and untrue. She stated that, as one of the victims, she knew the claims were false, even if others disagreed.

His wife, Anna Duggar, whom he married on September 26, 2008, in a ceremony shown on the show 19 Kids and Counting, remained supportive, even after he confessed to infidelity.
In 2016, when he began treatment, his parents described it as an important start to his recovery process.
Anna and her husband have seven children: Mackynzie (born October 8, 2009), Michael (born June 15, 2011), Marcus (born June 2, 2013), Meredith (born July 16, 2015), Mason Garett (born September 12, 2017), Maryella Hope (born November 27, 2019), and Madyson Lily (born October 23, 2021). Meredith was born on the same day TLC canceled 19 Kids.
In April 2021, Josh was accused of receiving and possessing child pornography in a federal indictment. He initially denied both charges, but in 2022, a jury found him guilty on both counts. However, the judge later dismissed the possession charge, and he was sentenced to 12 and a half years in prison.

Soon after Josh arrived, Michelle became pregnant again, but sadly had a miscarriage. While they were still mourning that loss and seeking direction, they were overjoyed to discover they were expecting twins.
It felt like a special gift from God, a real encouragement to us,” she explained. “We’re still figuring things out as we go. It’s quite rare, because I nurse my babies, but they are born very close together – I get pregnant again about eight months after having a baby. It’s just another unexpected thing happening in our lives, and we feel God is guiding us through it.
John-David Duggar and his twin sister Jana Duggar were born on Jan. 12, 1990.

John-David and Abbie-Grace Burnett married on November 3, 2018, after a quick romance and engagement. Although they had been aware of each other for years, they officially met at a church event in Oklahoma, where Abbie grew up.
They welcomed daughter Grace Annette Duggar on Jan. 7, 2020 and son Charlie Duggar in September 2022.
On their 30th birthday in January 2020, Jana shared a heartfelt message about her and John. They’d often been asked if they had a special ‘twin connection’ – that feeling of knowing what the other is thinking or feeling. Jana had always said no, but she realized that when their daughter, Gracie, was born, she felt just as much joy as John did. She jokingly admitted that maybe the ‘twin thing’ was real after all!
Jana told them, “It’s lovely seeing you and Abbie as parents – you both seem so natural at it! You’ve always been a great brother, and I know you’ll be an amazing dad too.”
Abbie and John-David found out they’re expecting a baby girl at a combined baby shower with Jana in November 2025.

Jana watched eleven of her eighteen siblings get married before she met her husband, Stephen Wissmann. Interestingly, Stephen’s sister, Hannah, is married to Jana’s brother, Jeremiah. Despite feeling frustrated at times, Jana believes everything happened according to God’s plan.
Jana explained to People magazine that she’s marrying later in life because she trusts that God has a plan for everyone. ‘We all have unique journeys,’ she said, ‘and it would be a pretty dull world if we were all the same.’
Just over a year later, the couple shared that they’re expecting their first baby.

Jill Dillard (born May 17, 1991) met her husband, Derick, in a way similar to how her parents met. He visited the Duggar family home in December 2011 while caroling with his church group, and they quickly connected. Derick grew up about 45 minutes from the Duggars.
Jill and Derick met thanks to Jill’s father, Jim Bob, who thought they’d be a good match. They quickly connected through emails and video calls. That November, Jill and her father traveled to Nepal to visit Derick, and their relationship blossomed. In February 2014, Derick formally asked Jim Bob for Jill’s hand in marriage, and they were married on June 21, 2014. They now have three sons: Israel, born April 6, 2015, Samuel, born July 8, 2017, and Frederick, born July 7, 2022.
I was so heartbroken to hear that Jill experienced a miscarriage in April 2024. She and Derick were expecting their first daughter, and it’s just devastating news for them and everyone who loves them. I’m sending all my support and prayers their way.
In the Amazon Prime Video documentary Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets, which debuted in June 2023, Jill and Derick Duggar discussed the controversies and religious beliefs connected to their family.

Jim Bob and Michelle’s fifth child, Jessa Duggar, was born Nov. 4, 1992.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve always been fascinated by different approaches to relationships, and Jessa and Ben’s story is a great example! They actually met at church, and Ben began ‘courting’ her back in 2013. This was a new concept for a lot of people – it’s a more intentional way of getting to know someone with family involvement. The Duggar family prefers courting to traditional dating. As Jim Bob explained, courting is about spending time together as groups and setting shared goals to see if marriage is a good fit. It’s different from dating, where couples often spend time alone, which can sometimes lead to physical intimacy before establishing a solid foundation.
Ben asked for Jessa’s parents’ permission to marry, and then proposed in August 2014 – it was the first time they’d ever held hands! They quickly married on November 1, 2014. Jessa was pregnant with their first child when their show, 19 Kids and Counting, was canceled. TLC then aired a special featuring Jessa and her sister Jill discussing sexual abuse and providing education to viewers. That winter, Jessa and Jill became the stars of a new show called Jill and Jessa: Counting On, which later became Counting On and included other members of the Duggar family.
Jessa and Ben have four children: Spurgeon, born November 5, 2015; Henry, born February 6, 2017; Ivy Jane, born May 28, 2019; and Fern, born in July 2021. They sadly experienced a miscarriage during the 2022 holidays, but welcomed another son, George, in December 2023.
In August 2025, Jessa announced the birth of son Edward.

The sixth Duggar child, Jinger Vuolo, was born Dec. 21, 1993.
Jinger and Jeremy first connected while doing mission work in Laredo, Texas, and began dating in 2016. They got married on November 5, 2016 – the same day as Jinger’s nephew Spurgeon’s birthday – and quickly faced speculation about whether they were expecting a baby. It’s not easy to avoid big events when you’re part of a large family of nineteen!
In June 2017, on an episode of Counting On, Jinger shared that she and her family hoped to be settled in Laredo a year from then, continuing their ministry and serving God in any way they could.
Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo’s daughter, Felicity, was born on July 19, 2018. They had previously shared that Jinger was pregnant in May of that year, but had experienced a miscarriage in the fall of 2017. Their second daughter, Evangeline Jo, arrived in November 2020.
Son Finnegan Charles was born March 29, 2025.

Joseph Duggar, born on January 20, 1995, proposed to Kendra Caldwell in May 2017. They had met through church and had been courting for only a few months when he popped the question at his sister Joy-Anna’s wedding.
Joseph admitted he was nervous when he proposed, but he felt confident she’d say yes because she had previously told him, ‘I’m just waiting on you!’ Kendra, clearly surprised and overjoyed, told People, ‘I’m so happy and so shocked. I have so much I want to say, but I’m just shocked!’
The couple has welcomed three children: a son named Garrett, born in June 2018, and daughters Addison, born in November 2019, and Brooklyn, born in February 2021.

Eighth in line, Josiah Duggar was born on Aug. 28, 1996.
After dating publicly for only a few months, the couple announced their engagement in March 2018. He shared that he proposed to Lauren in the same location where her parents had gotten engaged, explaining that the property held a lot of family history and was therefore very meaningful to her.
Lauren’s future mother-in-law, Michelle, shared in a video on the family’s blog how much they adore her, calling her a ‘precious girl.’ Jessa and Ben also sent their congratulations, along with chocolates shaped like hearts and kisses. Michelle jokingly said, ‘I’m guessing you want to save your first kiss for the wedding,’ and then held up the chocolates as a fun alternative if they visited.
Josiah previously dated Marjorie Jackson, but they ended their relationship in the summer of 2015. He told People magazine in March 2016 that they had enjoyed their time together and were both trying to discern what God wanted for them. Ultimately, Marjorie didn’t feel the timing was right, so they decided to take a break from the relationship.
He and Lauren got married on June 30, 2018, and described their wedding day as “absolutely perfect” in an interview with People magazine. They had their first daughter, Bella Milagro, on November 8, 2019. The name means “miracle baby,” as Lauren had experienced a miscarriage in October 2018. The couple expanded their family with another daughter, Daisy, in 2022, and a son named Ezra in May 2023.

Ninth sibling Joy-Anna Duggar was born Oct. 28, 1997.
Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth had been friends for 15 years before they began dating. They quickly fell in love and got engaged in February 2017, marrying just a few months later on May 26th at Cross Church in Rogers, Arkansas – the same wedding where Joseph Duggar proposed to Kendra Caldwell!

Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth have three children: Gideon Martin Forsyth, born February 23, 2018; Evelyn Mae Forsyth, born August 21, 2020; and Gunner James Forsyth, born May 17, 2023.

Jed and Jeremiah Duggar, the second set of twins born to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, arrived on December 30, 1998.

Jed and Katey Nakatsu got married in April 2021 after dating for a year. They have two children: a son named Truett, born in May 2022, and a daughter named Nora Kate, born in June 2023.
Jed and Katey shared the exciting news in July 2024 that they were expecting twin girls. Elsie Kate and Emma Kate arrived on January 8, 2025.

Jeremiah is a certified flight instructor and is married to Hannah Wissmann, who is the sister of Stephen (Jana’s husband). Together, they have two daughters: Brynley, born in December 2022, and Brielle, born in February 2024.
They announced the arrival of their third daughter, Emery ‘Emy’ Jane Duggar, on May 18, 2025.

No. 12 Jason Duggar was born on April 21, 2000.
In January 2017, the Daily Mail said Jim Bob assisted Jase in purchasing a rundown house in Prairie Grove, Arkansas – roughly 30 minutes from the Duggar family’s home. Jase then launched his own construction business.
He publicly announced his relationship with Maddie Grace on Instagram in May 2024, and they got married in October of the same year.

Charmed No. 13, James Duggar was born July 7, 2001.
He’s not currently looking for a romantic relationship, but he’s a very loving and involved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Mom Michelle described James as the ‘fun uncle’ – someone all the younger boys admire and want to emulate. She wrote this on his 19th birthday in 2019, noting he could seemingly build or fix anything he set his mind to. Even when he was little, he was always taking things apart – appliances, toys, anything – to understand how they worked, and then reassembling them, often with his own creative improvements!
James put in a lot of effort this year to earn his commercial driver’s license, and he’s now skilled at operating large trucks and heavy equipment! We’re excited to see what opportunities lie ahead for him.

No. 14 Justin Duggar arrived on Nov. 15, 2002.
He began dating Claire Spivey in September 2020, and they announced their engagement the following November. They were married on February 26, 2021.

Jackson Duggar, the fifteenth child of Jim Bob and Michelle, was born on May 23, 2004. He’s pictured here with his older sister, Jill.

Oh my gosh, it was Jackson’s 16th birthday, and his mom, Michelle, was just glowing talking about him! She said he’s so funny, and you could feel how excited he was to finally get his license. Seriously, he was counting down the seconds, I just know it!

Johannah Duggar was born on October 11, 2005, which is why her family was featured in the original special called 16 Kids and Moving In.
As a mom, there’s nothing sweeter than seeing your kids thrive! On my daughter’s 15th birthday in 2020, I wrote about how much joy she brings to everyone. She’s always been a social butterfly, making friends easily, and her little sisters just adore her – honestly, they think she’s perfect! I truly feel blessed to be her mom and so grateful for the gift she is in my life.

Jennifer Duggar arrived on Aug. 2, 2007, then the baby of the family.
Their TLC show that premiered Sept. 29, 2008, was christened 17 Kids and Counting.

Now, OMG, she’s a teenager.
When her daughter Jennifer turned thirteen, Michelle described her as someone who is reliable, loyal, and a lot of fun! Jennifer is beloved by her younger cousins, who often ask her to carry them around. She also has a big heart for animals and consistently cares for her pets. Recently, she even helped raise a family of seven bunnies!

Here on the right, the penultimate Duggar child was born Dec. 18, 2008.

Jordyn-Grace was described by her mom in 2019 as a friendly and sociable person who easily connects with others. Her laugh was often a highlight of their day.

Josie Duggar, number 19 in her family, is pictured here with her niece, Meredith. She was born on December 10, 2009, three months early and weighing just 1 pound, 6 ounces. She spent six months in the hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

Oh my gosh, Josie is just… incredible! Michelle said it perfectly on her 11th birthday back in 2020 – this girl is a whirlwind! Seriously, from the moment she wakes up until she finally goes to sleep, she’s always on the go. It’s amazing to watch, honestly!
