Coronation Street abuser Megan Walsh caught out by hidden camera footage in early ITVX release

Coronation Street teacher Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon) could soon face the consequences of her inappropriate relationship with student Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson Wale), as her actions may finally catch up to her.

It wasn’t long after he joined the street that people discovered he was secretly dating his track coach, and she is now pregnant with his child.

She took a job at Weatherfield High, hoping to be near Will, and started dating Daniel Osborne, who had no idea about her true feelings. Daniel believes she’s fully committed to their relationship, but she’s secretly meeting with Will whenever she can.

In a shocking turn of events, Will, driven by jealousy, even assaulted Daniel on Christmas Day. Daniel suspects Will has feelings for Megan, but doesn’t fully understand how close they’ve become.

Over the past few weeks, Sam Blakeman has noticed a close connection between two people and started to become suspicious. Megan warned him to stop investigating, even threatening him when she thought her secret might be revealed. She claimed there was nothing romantic happening and told him that continuing to pry would only cause pain.

With his roommate Leanne gone, Will was happy to finally have some time to himself.

Sam saw him go inside the apartment, and Will said he needed to talk to Megan about an upcoming track meet. They were together for more than an hour and a half while Sam waited outside, keeping track of how long they were talking.

Megan was increasingly worried Daniel might appear unexpectedly, so she booked a hotel room as a safe place for them to go. Sam, observing from a distance, saw them drive away together, which confirmed what he had suspected.

Today on the show, she suggested Will try to befriend his opponent. They went to the police station, and Will offered Sam vodka.

Even though Will claimed everything was fine with Megan, Sam, who was good at reading people, didn’t believe him.

At the Bistro, he began watching recordings from a hidden camera he’d placed in Megan’s apartment. He’d gotten in earlier in the week with a copy of Leanne’s key and hidden the camera on a bookshelf.

Right when things were becoming exciting, Nick Tilley (Ben Price) stepped in and took his son’s phone, announcing they were going to the movies and leaving all devices at home.

Will the footage still be there when Sam gets his phone back?

Coronation Street airs weeknights at 8:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
