How Jennifer Aniston, Jim Curtis Navigate Relationship “Flare Ups”

Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis have no problem fixing things.

The health and wellness expert, who has been with the former Friends star since 2025, shared some thoughts on how they handle disagreements.

Jim shared on the February 15th episode of the ‘Ced With Intention’ podcast that he believes the purpose of life is connection with others. He explained that relationships inevitably involve challenges and require effort to repair. As an example, he mentioned that he and his girlfriend, who spend a lot of time together at home, sometimes experience minor disagreements.

And when tensions do rise, he and Jennifer are presented with a choice. 

She explained that when something goes wrong, we have a choice: we can either react with anger and distance ourselves, or we can respond calmly. We can take time to reflect, try to fix the problem, or simply apologize and work on preventing it from happening again in the future. It’s about choosing a constructive response instead of letting anger control us.

In fact, Jim and Jennifer created their game plan long before conflict arose.

He explained they often check in with each other before things escalate. They’ll ask things like, ‘Do you need a moment to yourself to process this?’ or ‘Would you prefer to talk about it right away?’ They also consider whether it’s better to sleep on an issue, recognizing that some people find it difficult to rest if they’re upset.

He explained that, particularly in a romantic relationship, it’s important to discuss and agree on boundaries and expectations beforehand.

Jennifer and Jim have truly had time to build a strong and loving relationship. Their journey from friends to a couple was recently explored, with a hypnotist offering a unique look into how their romance first began.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe how they met! Jim actually told it on Today – it was the sweetest thing ever. Apparently, they just connected through friends, totally random! They started chatting, and it wasn’t instant or anything, it took a long time of just getting to know each other. He said they chatted and chatted and slowly, naturally, just became really close. I’m seriously living for this love story!

Jennifer Aniston hasn’t hesitated to publicly show her affection for Justin Theroux. To celebrate his birthday in November, she posted a sweet black and white photo of them hugging with the caption, “Happy birthday my love. Cherished.”

Kim Kardashian recently shared a personal story on her show, The Kardashians, about how her grandmother, Mary Jo “MJ” Campbell, unexpectedly played a role in a private moment with her then-boyfriend, Pete Davidson. She revealed this during an October 2022 episode.

Kim Kardashian told MJ, Kris Jenner, and Khloé Kardashian that she and Pete Davidson were at the Beverly Hills Hotel when she remembered something her grandmother told her. She explained that her grandmother said having sex in front of a fireplace is a way to truly enjoy life, so they decided to do it as a tribute to Kris.

Grandma’s reaction? A nod of approval.

Kim jokingly remarked, “It’s strange to think about your grandmother right before being intimate!” MJ responded with a laugh, “I know, but everyone has a past!”

Jennifer Garner admitted to a slightly embarrassing on-set mishap while filming the 2007 movie The Kingdom. She accidentally bit her own tongue during a fight scene – a little more than she bargained for!

Jennifer described a scene with Sala Baker where the director, Pete Berg, instructed her to realistically attempt to fight for her life. She explained that they hadn’t rehearsed much, and Berg told her to do whatever it took to survive.

She continued, explaining that they both jumped into action, and she ended up climbing onto his back. She even bit his ear – they have a photo to prove it, showing a piece of it missing, because they weren’t joking around.

 

Ghouls just want to have fun.

During an October 2022 episode of The View, while discussing a woman who claimed her home was haunted by “sexual ghosts,” Sara Haines posed a surprising question to the panel: “Is it possible to get pregnant from a ghost?”

Luckily, Joy Behar, her co-host, chimed in with a humorous response: “I’ve had encounters with ghosts and never gotten pregnant.”

“I’m going to leave that comment as is,” Whoopi Goldberg responded. “I’m not sure everyone heard what Joy said, but I’m choosing not to address it further.”

Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb are very close friends, but Hoda recently learned something surprising about her co-host on Today. While preparing for an episode of Today with Hoda and Jenna, Hoda found out that Jenna always goes without underwear.

Before Chris Evans became famous as Captain America and was named People’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2022, Jana Kramer dated him and thought he was a charming and attractive guy.

The singer shared on her podcast, Whine Down with Jana Kramer, that this happened over ten years ago. She doesn’t remember exactly how many dates they went on, but she does remember their final meeting.

Jana, who was around 26 at the time, said Chris asked her to come over when he had some friends visiting from Boston.

Jana recalled that the last thing she remembered was her partner going to the bathroom right after she’d eaten asparagus, which sometimes changes the smell of urine. They didn’t end up intimate that night; he stayed up late with friends, and the next morning she left his house feeling embarrassed, what she jokingly called the ‘asparagus walk of shame.’

She added, “I never heard from him again.”

Not all of these confessions are amusing.

In December, television writer Elisabeth Finch confessed that she had fabricated a story about having a rare bone cancer. She originally shared this false diagnosis with ELLE magazine eight years prior, and it even became the basis for a plotline on Grey’s Anatomy.

After being temporarily removed from his role on the ABC medical show and ultimately resigning, Finch admitted, “I made a mistake. It was unacceptable and completely wrong – there’s no other way to put it.”

Beauty is pain, but Kim Kardashian might be able to stomach it.

The reality star told The New York Times she’d consider almost any procedure to look younger, joking that she was open to trying everything.

She admitted in June that she’d even consider something extreme – like eating something disgusting daily – if it meant she could look younger. She emphasized she was seriously considering it.

I remember Kim mentioning something interesting in an interview with Allure back in July 2022. She admitted she was mostly kidding when she said it, but she actually didn’t think the idea was that bad. It was a surprisingly candid moment, and really showed a playful side of her.

Kim continued, saying she’d likely do almost anything for youth, even something disgusting. ‘If someone told me eating a bowl of poop daily would make me look younger, I’d probably do it,’ she admitted.

She wasn’t sure how much she could eat. “Maybe just a bite,” she said, adding, “I don’t think I could manage a whole bowl.”

Jelly Roll could’ve used some saving from himself.

During an April 2025 interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the singer behind “Save Me” shared a particularly embarrassing story, and he didn’t shy away from the details.

“I pooped myself one time,” he admitted. “I did, I’m sorry.”

To be honest, Jelly Roll (whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord) didn’t intend to cause such serious harm.

He firmly believed it was just a misunderstanding. “I really apologize,” he said. “I saw the audience turn from supportive to completely against me.”
